CHEERS TO ANOTHER YEAR OF GROWTH...Part 2

...turned into giving back and showing the haters they may try intentionally or unintentionally to break you but ultimately, if YOU choose to stay positive and mindful, if YOU choose to look for the good in this lesson, If YOU choose to see this challenge as an experience not as a punishment, if YOU choose to tune out the noise,and instead to focus on your WHY, then no matter how hard they try they won't succeed in breaking your spirit.

As I reflect on the challenges I faced this year I can honestly say I learned that inner work is hard work. It can even feel draining at times.
If you remember your WHY, your reason than success is imminent.

It certainly does not means your challenges will disappear. Your attitude, your choice of how you respond will determine the hardships of your journey.
Everyone's HARD looks different .
Your mindset can turn your hard into a lesson .
If it did, consider it
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED🤗🙏

As we enter Rosh Hashana, ask yourself WHAT IS MY WHY?
When you know your why, your how becomes your journey.

May this year be filled with immense growth, clarity and success in accomplishing all that you set your mind to.
Remember...YOU can accomplish everything as long as you try wholeheartedly.
It's not a race.
Eventually, you will make it to the finish finish line!

CHEERS TO ANOTHER YEAR OF...GROWTH!

August 1st comes around and I start to panic.
My thoughts overwhelm me and I feel anxious that I must accomplish so much more before my birthday.
I'm a LEO so it actually makes sense😊

Looking back I cannot believe I actually survived this year.
I don't share much about the behind the scenes in my life but if I had to sum this year up in one word I'd say it was extremely HUMBLING!
This year was legit the HARDEST YEAR of my life!

I have been through more than I can share in one post.
I've been tested physically, psychologically, financially and emotionally & then some.
Never a dull moment.
But this year takes the cake!
I'd literally just pray for the day to end. I was in fight and survival mode all day every day.
Not one mundane thing seemed to go right.Not one!
Every day was a new day on the battlefield of survival. I was scared to wake up and see what today's challenges would bring.

The hardest part was being hurt by the people I love most.
That is something no one or no life experience can prepare you for.
How does one overcome that?
Being hurt so deeply by someone close to you?
Someone who will always be present in your world, how do you overcome such pain?

Then it hit me.
I just don't seem to comprehend I am simply not the one in control.
The one thing I absolutely am in control of is how I RESPOND each day, to each challenge, to each situation.
Let's just say the harder I got hit,the deeper I had to reflect,the more I chose to give back.

To say that I am multitasking while trying to survive it all is a complete understatement.
Yet somehow, I took all that pain and turned it to create LIGHT.
My very own light.
Disbursing it where its needed most.
From 1 play therapy center to two and soon enough to 5!!!
All in less than 1 year...exactly from the very moment life's debilitating challenges were thrown right at me.

I can now reflect and honestly say yes, this was by far my most challenging year ever, yet the most productive one.
The death threats I have received from our very own tribe turned into giving back and showing the haters ...

THIS MOTHERS DAY...

So many thoughts come to mind today as we celebrate Mothers Day.
What are we actually celebrating?
Physically being a mom?

Since October 7th, holidays and milestones hit differently.
I realize it's a GIFT we get to celebrate.
I understand it's a day I should spend being GRATEFUL for all that I have and all that I am able to work on.
I feel our achievements and failures should not be taken for granted, regardless of what one was able to accomplish the entire year.

If you are single and are trying to get married, celebrate that you had your clarity and didn't end up in a bad marriage.
If you tried and didn't conceive, celebrate your strength, persistence and resilience.
If you are a mom and felt tested to the max by your kid this year, celebrate your growth process.

Ever since I founded the organization @israelorphansof10seven, I have learned so much as a person, especially as a mother.
It's been a really rough ride to put it lightly.
No one sees the behind the scenes.The daily struggles, the mountains needed to simultaneously juggle.
Let's just say it is not for the faint of heart. I deeply understand what it means to be in pain, want to give up, yet do my best to overcome that feeling.

I humbly learned that when the going gets rough, try even harder. It's just a test to see how much you believe in what you do.
Waking up in the morning, SHOWING UP, taking responsibility is what we need to learn to celebrate. Whether or not you were successful that day is not relevant, rather focus on the fact that you showed up and tried your best.
Try harder tomorrow and refocus as an individual, as a mother.
Today is a hard day for so many.
For the women who are not yet mothers.
For women fighting every single day to become a mother.
For the women whose dreams were shattered and are now raising children alone.
For women who are now widows and were forced into this role.
For women who lost their child or their mom.
I see you.
I feel for you.
I stand with you.
Pause for a moment and celebrate even these trying moments because you deserve to celebrate you.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Some ladies find wigs sentimental.
Others prefer to purchase a new wig every year.
Often times we aren't educated properly and buy too many.
Really, one wig can do so much.
It all boils down to how the wig was sewn.
Too much density? Too little? What direction was the hair sewn in...
