First (and last) MDTCO!

I had so much fun getting to show off a solo I choreographed myself, as well as getting to meet so many new people. Some of the most supportive and inspiring people I think I have ever met.

purple group forever 💜

there is not much more you could ask for out of a summer intensive. from dancing with some of the most talented people, to taking class from such knowledgeable teachers, this week has been nothing but amazing. cli is an experience you don’t get anywhere else. the connection you’re able to make with your peers as well as your teachers is incredible. the staff push you to be your best and most honest self. some days were challenging and out of my comfort zone, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

also thank you to @missandyej for choreographing and setting our music video, @alexisrosephotographyy for our photoshoot, and @abbyyscott__ for assisting a lot of our classes and helping to give corrections or answer questions.

i’ll for sure be back soon. taken in The CLI Conservatory by @kaiyasmconnely

There are not enough words to describe this weekend.

@the_part_project has given me a place to call home. Somewhere where I don’t need to prove myself of anything and where I can just be my honest and best self. Amidst all the pressure and stress of the dance world, there’s p(art), the one place I can come back to knowing I’ll enjoy every second of it stress-free. I love getting the chance to see what everyone has to offer to the space and the pure passion and love you can feel radiating off everyone. P(art) has made me a more curious, aware person and I’m so happy to get to experience all that it brings me.

None of it could be done without @kelly_swany_. All the effort she’s put into making this space what it is, is truly inspiring.

And always a big thank you to @serianphotography for documenting these events. You have an amazing eye for capturing some of the most beautiful moments.

i love you p(art). 🏠🤍 by @kaiyasmconnely

feeling so full after last weekend. i am forever grateful for this space and the people it withholds. words could never say enough about how amazing it is to be in such a trusting, close-knit space and truly get to know those around you.

@kelly_swany_ youre one of my biggest mentors and inspirations, and im so blessed to share this beautiful space you’ve created. your compassion and care is such a blessing to all.
