I had the great pleasure of creating a book cover - @qols_series - The Fallen Queen, for the author - @mysterieux_design . And let me tell you, I love it already. I'm so proud of it! I hope you like it!
And this interesting thing I used for reference my own body 😁!

I’m always trying to learn something new. I watch a lot of tutorials (I discovered Chinese ones, and they’re absolutely amazing XD seriously! HIGHLY recommend them!).
I also switched to a different drawing program (and that turned out to be a perfect choice) - Clip Studio Paint

This illustration was a challenge for me. Drawing emotions, especially through the eyes and facial expressions, isn’t easy. I created and searched through a lot of references, made plenty of sketches to get everything looking right, and analyzed facial expressions from photos, etc. I’m genuinely happy with the work I put into this piece, and I learned a lot while creating it :D

I’m really glad I had the chance to make it!

Cover for my author, whom I have the pleasure of working with! - @thejmichaelwhite
I hope you’ll like it!

The Dread Fleet returns to Black Waters.

And Jaymes has never been particularly interested in arriving quietly.

There are few sights more dangerous than the Pirate King at the helm of his own fleet, with open water beneath him and a reason to remind the world exactly why they fear those black sails.

Some reputations are earned on land.

Jaymes forged his from salt, blood, and bone.

The Burning Stag is coming. And the Dread Fleet is sailing with it.

💜 Tytuł: Łapacz Prawdy
🤍 Autorka: Joanna Karyś @joannakarys.autorka
💙 Ilustracja na okładce: Martyna Szpil-Augusiewicz @kajuart
🩶 Jednotomówka
🖤 Data premiery: 27.10.2026

Opis:

“𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐞.”🗡️

Can’t help but start the week with a bit of art of Brynn and Acker. Metal Slinger was one of my favorite reads for 2025. These two went on quite the adventure together and dished out some amazing banter and tension along the way. Once I picked this book up I didn’t want to put it down! I loved how they connected with each other and grew together as their story played out. There is also nothing I love more than unexpected twists and turns and it is safe to say that is something @rachelschneiderauthor provided in this book!

Brynn and Acker’s story is now completed with Metal Slinger and Light Wielder☀️

“𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐈𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧, 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬.”

I drew Jason Todd (Red Hood) in my style, but keeping the DC comics feel. 🍑♥️
Thank you so much for all the tips on how to draw in this style from @nami.csp (you're amazing), I had a lot of fun drawing him!

And thank you so much for staying up all night with me and giving me feedback @adejavux
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thanks to you I made two versions! With a wink 😈😏😉

I hope you like it! I learned a lot of new things while drawing this illustration! Im soooo happy!
For the past month, I've had a terrible drawing hangover, or drawing depression. I don't know what else to call it, other than art block. And it helped a bit.

I visualized what I'd look like if I were a man, back when I was in college.

I don't know if life would be easier, but it would definitely be less physically painful. And I'd still be myself, a geek with ADHD who likes to draw and play games. But I'm sure I'd look great 🤣.
(My husband says I'd be a short boy 😭)

And I like this sketch, so I'm posting it ☺️
Hope you like it!
