Chapter 11: Officially Unlocked 🥳

And just like that… Our Mila is 11.

Eleven years of big smiles, dimples that could sail ships, big personality, big feelings, big laughs, and a whole lot of love packed into one little girl!

Mila Rae, you have a way of making life louder, funnier, sweeter, and definitely more amazing. I hope you keep that sparkle in your eyes, that beautiful heart, and sassy fierceness to be exactly who God created you to be.

My inner child has been playing peek-a-boo lately…
and I’m no longer afraid to meet her there.

Through pain, there was purpose.
Through survival, there was shaping.
Through breaking, He was building.

I used to think strength meant hard edges.
Now I know it means rooted softness and being still in surrender.
