It has been THREE months since I successfully swam across the English Channel with my Salish Sea Sisters.

Three months of a strange, after effect of achieving an epic goal.

I thought I was a bit lost recently, until I took the time and actually observed from an outside perspective, what I have been up to in the past 90 days.

And it has been insane!

I went on a solo trek through Scotland. I swam in 12 Scottish bodies of water. I rode the train. I rented a car and explored the Highlands. I walked tens of thousands of steps. I saw history.

Then I came back home and completely changed the trajectory of my life. Different career. Different job. Different daily routine. New sense of my life's purpose.

And it has been through my searching for "more", that I realized I have everything. Because I am happy. For the first time in my adult life, I am truly happy.

That, my friends, is all the success I need and want.

(however...more epic challenges are on the horizon for me 😁)

I have been home from the UK for almost two days and the jet lag is kicking my butt. And I think I have post trip blues.

I dragged myself to the pool this morning and felt like a damn brick in the water.

To be honest, I don't know how I feel about where I am at the moment. I am still processing the epic trip I had and all the things I accomplished. And at the same time, I am shocked it is over.
