Our “Community Threads” project empowers women in Ruyigi, Burundi through collaboration and skill-building. Partnering with local instructors, we provide sewing and entrepreneurship training in a three-month program. Equipped with sewing machines and guided by mentors, these women gain practical skills and business insights.

In response to the devastating recent floods from Lake Tanganyika, we assisted the displaced populations of Gatumba now on Mubimbi site. Partnering with SAD and @seka.nawe_pads, Kalibu Community distributed hygiene kits to 200 vulnerable women, helping them maintain their health and dignity amidst the crisis. Despite the challenging conditions, our collaborative efforts brought hope and support to those in need. 🌊❤️ #KalibuCommunity #sekanawe #CommunitySupport #SAD taken in Burundi the Heart of Africa by @kalibu_community

Empowering women with essential health and hygiene kits in vulnerable communities, in collaboration with sekanawe and Mugisha Hope Vision who have been doing amazing work locally. Every woman and girl deserves access to basic necessities for her health, dignity, and well-being.
