A little snippet of my interview “Keep Calm & Nail Any Q&A” with @myrzasison 🎤

Here, I talk about pausing after each point - not to find your next thought, but to give your last one room to grow. That’s how you lead your audience, not lose them.

Honored to return to my alma mater @povedaofficial to share my journey towards empowerment, and how young women can break the barrier of Gender-Based Violence. Thank you @scopofficial for inviting me to the first TEDxPoveda Youth Event: “Breaking Barriers for Women Today” 💛💛💛

I discussed the harsh realities of GBV, and my own story, as I believe we need to root ourselves in our truth to grow towards empowerment - no barrier can be broken unless we confront the reality that we face. Happy 450th Araw ng Pasig! 💙💙💙

It will forever be my greatest honor to have represented my city of almost two decades on a national stage🥰 To showcase Pasig’s history as one of the oldest towns in the country, its people as some of the most passionate and hopeful, and its vision of a collaborative and progressive future was and is a dream come true. My heart is forever yours, Pasig 🙏

For those that don’t know, Pasig’s name came from a Sanskrit word meaning “river flowing from one body of water to another,” in tribute to Pasig River connecting Laguna de Bay to Manila Bay. And my own name comes from the Sanskrit word for “goddess of power and change.”

I hope to continue to carry my city’s history with me as I take on new challenges, that I allow myself to be inspired by our namesake river and connect with more communities, and bring people together in honor of the vision of Pasig to make a collaborative change.

starting with the crazy eyes pic bcos the fire dancers were kind of near me already

island hopping isnt complete without a completely unregulated cliff dive & swing into the water!

yearly trips to bora just to see this water keeps me sane (well, does their best to)

(a reminder that there are only a few things that are more real than a moment before it becomes a memory)

will there ever be a more beautiful sight than the siargao mangrove sunset tour? second time seeing the mangroves after a year traveling to italy, france, germany, japan, hong kong, mauritius, uk, and usa…and this will remain to be the one place that’s taken my breath away.

some moments have no other purpose other than to be beautiful

my face if someone asks if i’ll go surfing again…naur im traumatized

a boy snorkled for 40 minutes and came up so excited, holding a sand dollar for me! The sweetest gift I’ve ever gotten 🥹 (And I immediately broke it)

the ordinary becomes sacred when we’re there to witness it
