It’s so easy to get caught in the cycle of our day to day lives. I think it’s important to introduce our brains to something new. Keeps things interesting and fun; you get to see yourself accomplish things you didn’t know you were capable of and learn new skills in the process.

This has been such a beautiful and humbling experience. Some nights I was living in complete euphoria, others were spent rush planning where I’ll be next.

Being the friend, auntie, sister that shows up for loved ones as best i can, l haven’t completely devoted my time to traveling. I wanted to be around for important moments this summer. But my heart still longs to travel. And if I’m being honest, the in between traveling is what made me want to get an apartment. I realized that while my mental state was completely
rejuvenated while away, I was lacking routine. The very routine I built when I moved off on my own to begin with. So back to square one, on a quest for balance. Life is what you make it, and I don’t plan to have any regrets when my time expires 🙂‍↔️🥂🌎 Thank you to everyone that has played a part in getting me where I am today. I love yall indefinitely 🫶🏽

Fear could’ve kept me from exploring what I think we were put here to see… the world 🌎

From the start of 2026, I had been fighting myself on choosing stability or traveling because the way the economy is set up, I couldn’t have both & travel as frequently as I want to.

I started my fake nomad journey back in April; completely out of my comfort, worried because of the unknown, and wondering if I made the right choice.

I couldn’t be happier that I let go of what I couldn’t control & let God, the Universe, and my Guardian Angels push me to commit to being out of my comfort zone. My time in Puerto Rico was nothing short of refreshing. There has been something in the pit of me that has been screaming to be let out, and for so long I wasn’t able to put my finger on exactly what it was. But I feel like my time in PR allowed me to recognize some of it.

We’ll never be able to run from our problems. But we can put ourselves in places that make it easier to release them; Places that allow us to disconnect from the chaos, and sit with ourselves while we work to sort it out. Mine had a lot to do with the mounds of feelings I’ve suppressed, but being alone in a place foreign to me, I was ready to let it out. It’s not mine to carry anymore, and this solo trip helped me see that clearly.

So to the amazing people I met along the way(so many not pictured), thank you for accepting me. For being kind when I wasn’t sure what to expect. For living out memories with me that I will hold onto the rest of my life. May abundance find yall wherever you are in the world.

And thank you Puerto Rico, for being the breath of fresh air that I needed when I felt the weight of the world on my chest for so long. Thanks for the warm welcome, the history lessons, culture, food, laughs, love, and everything in between. The island is truly beautiful and tranquil in every way. ❤️🇵🇷

It should go w/out saying no matter the reason for your travel, but I know a lot of people get caught up in the aesthetic of it all. Don’t just go somewhere to say you did it. Be a sponge, learn what you can, pour into it where it’s warranted, and respect local’s wants and needs. Traveling the world opens your heart and mind to so many perspectives and for me personally it has broadened my respect for so many different ways of life. If more people traveled (not just vacationed), there’d be a whole lot less hate in the world. But you HAVE to do so with respect. Nothing belongs to us. What you experience will change how you think..

The rat race in the states was driving me to insanity. I needed to escape society’s obsession w/ materialistic things and constantly having more, more, more. I’d rather meet new people, experience new things, and make more memories than worry about how I can get rich and live in a high rise, own a fancy car, and wait for the drop on a new designer bag. Material doesn’t mean a whole lot to me. Yeah it’s nice, but it’s not my priority. There’s so much of this world I want to see. Time is the most valuable thing on this earth and I don’t want to waste mine anymore. So here’s to taking chances. I love it over here 🥂❤️🇵🇷
