New headshots incoming! May pushed me further than ever before! ✨

✅ Attended FUZE Conference by @saskmarketing for Tourism Saskatchewan as a new marketing professional!
🔮 Donated my 4th year in a row of readings from @teawithklynk to the Women of Distinction Awards by @ywcaregina (celebrating their 45th anniversary, at The Globe Theatre no less!!)
✅ Witnessed my colleague, friend, and Director of @discoverjapan.sk - Andrè Boutin-Maloney, get sworn in as honourary consulate general to Japan (also met the current Consul General to Japan for Calgary)
✅ Explored Costa Rica with 27 strangers from the United States of America in less than 5 days as I learn to be a better chaperone and youth travel leader with @exploricabyworldstrides

June holds a lot of promise as I prepare to take our students to the Land of the Rising Sun once more! ☀️

I placed 3rd in my group for Entrepreneur of Impact 🤍

And honestly… this week didn’t look anything like I thought it would.

What was supposed to be a final push turned into days of calls, difficult decisions, and showing up for my baba while she moved in and out of emergency care.

So if you voted, shared, messaged, or even quietly supported me behind the scenes… thank you. Truly.

This experience reminded me of something important:

I am not building alone.

Even when I couldn’t show up the way I planned, there were people who stepped in, shared my work, and carried that momentum forward for me. That means more than any final ranking ever could.

Placing 3rd doesn’t close anything for me. It just shows me that what I’m building is already reaching people.

And if there isn’t funding right now, then I grow differently. Slower maybe. But still forward. Still rooted. Still expanding.

I will always find a way to grow through the cracks 🌿

I had BIG plans today 🤍

Instead, I spent hours taking calls and making urgent healthcare decisions for my grandmother, and I am only just now getting home to continue working remotely by the grace of a very understanding boss. FYI: This was written at noon and scheduled to post at 3pm.

This has been my reality for the past few days.

I am so grateful for the people who have supported me through this, even as I feel the weight of not being able to show up the way I intended. I wanted to make a final push from 3rd to 1st before the deadline tomorrow.

But I am learning it is not as simple as choosing my future or my roots. I am building both, at the same time.

So today I am asking for help.

If you have been voting for me, I would be so grateful if you could share my link and invite a few people in your circle to vote as well.

Right now, I am trusting the community around me to help carry this forward.

No matter what happens this week, I am deeply grateful for the support, the visibility, and the people this has connected me with 🫶

And if these projects do not receive this financial boost, they will simply grow in new ways.

I will always find a way to grow through the cracks and find my way back. 🥂

Something new is steeping ✨ @entrepreneurofimpact

I’ve been selected for the Entrepreneur of Impact contest, and I want to share what that means to me in a real way.

Everything I do comes from what was passed down to me.
From my family, my culture, my studies, and the spaces I’ve moved through. 🌻

Klynk started as tea leaf readings, but it’s grown into something that brings together all the parts of my life.

I teach Japanese through a nonprofit program, and I’m starting to offer tarot readings in Japanese to help support that work. I’m building tools like a board game and a tarot deck to make language learning more accessible and engaging. 🌸

At the same time, I’ve been stepping into authorship and app development, building digital tools and resources to share this work in new ways and reach people beyond the table.

I work full time in marketing, where I’m learning how creativity and technology can work together in a way that still feels human and responsible. 👩🏻‍💻🎨

And through Klynk, I host readings, workshops, and events where people can slow down, reflect, and connect with themselves and each other.

This is what it looks like for me to merge everything I’ve been given and everything I’ve worked for. 🫶

As part of the Ukrainian diaspora, I carry a deep respect for tradition, resilience, and the importance of sharing knowledge across cultures. Teaching Japanese while reading tea leaves and writing code might not be conventional, but neither is the world we’re building right now.

We’re all figuring out what the new professional landscape looks like. This is my way of contributing to it. 🍷
