Such a fun one made for @tobesonico One day I was eating Chinese food @davincitattoostudio and she said she always wanted a chinese take out box tattoo. I instantly got to work! After realizing she can no longer eat 95% of what’s on the menu for health reasons, I did what any millennial NY’er would do and made it a planter

The bonsai tree, among other things, represents patience, dedication, & resilience. All of which sum up Nico’s journey. I’m eternally grateful to be able to create something so meaningful for a wonderful friend! Thank you Nico!

Here’s a new painting I really enjoyed making! 9”x16” on arches cold press, using only cool grey and black liquid acrylic. I had zero expectations how this would turn out but I’m super happy with it!

🚨 Artist Highlight: Kam Myers🚨

Born and raised on Long Island, Kam has been with DaVinci for over a decade

What started as a deep fascination for tattooing, spurred by magazines and watching episodes of Tattoo Age with friends, led him into the shop and his eventual apprenticeship under Frank Romano

Tattooing since 2021, he continues to grow his skills and seek further knowledge of the craft with a focus on Japanese traditional and American traditional design

When he’s not tattooing, you can find him painting, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends

📍 Kam is available for appointments and walk-ins Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday 11am-8pm at our Wantagh location
