I’ve had a few new followers recently, so I wanted to take the time to reintroduce myself! 👋

Hi, I’m Kamalyn! I’m a high-functioning anxiety and confidence expert for high achieving women and teams including CEOs, senior leaders, entrepreneurs, celebrities and public figures ⭐️

And here’s where my mission comes in…I want my clients to feel as good on the inside as they look on the outside.

With over a decade of experience in psychotherapy, I’ve honed the art of helping my clients quieten the noise, find their balance, and step into their full potential.

I believe by changing our Mindset, Behaviours, and Self Limiting Beliefs we can transform the quality of our lives.

And when I am not delving into the depths of human psyche…you’ll find me lost in the pages of a good book, finding solace on the yoga mat, seeking clarity through meditation, or being outdoors reconnecting! 💫

I’d love for you to say ‘hi’ 👋 Whether it’s in the comments or via DM! by @kamalynkaur

10 small things to help you move out of survival mode and feel safer, calmer and more grounded. 🤍

1. Unplug. I give myself 30 minutes screen-free every day.

2. I have to get a minimum of 15 mins of daylight.

3. I exercise everyday. A short walk counts.

4. I only drink decaf. Caffeine fuels anxiety.

5. I avoid overcommitting to plans and people to protect my peace.

6. I celebrate the small wins alongside the big ones. Progress is progress.

7. I do a creative task every week. It’s a great way to switch off a busy mind.

8. I’m mindful of my body so ensure I’m not tending my shoulders or holding my breath. This keeps your body in brace position.

9. I do 5 minutes of daily breath work in morning because cortisol levels are higher when you wake up.

10. I choose to be self compassionate by speaking to myself the way I would speak to my best friend.

You don’t need to overhaul your entire life to feel better. These small steps reach your nervous system to feel safe.

Which one will you try?

10 small things to help you move out of survival mode and feel safer, calmer and more grounded. 🤍

You don’t need to overhaul your entire life to feel better.

Sometimes it’s the smallest shifts, repeated consistently, that help remind your body and mind that life doesn’t have to feel like one big emergency.

Let’s make November about feeling better, not doing more. 🤍

Which one are you starting with?

You’re allowed to change your mind about the life you built (even if it does look perfect on paper).

For the woman who seems to be managing everything but feels anxious, exhausted, or overwhelmed inside: you’re not alone.

You don’t have to change your whole life overnight. Just think about one tiny step you can take right now that might make you feel calmer and less overwhelmed?

It might be saying no, cancelling a plan, not replying to a text, ignoring a call that you know is going to trigger you (yes we all have that one person in our lives) 🙄

Whatever that step is, take it. Your nervous system will thank you for it 💕💕💕

Welcome to my page - a safe space for women who are so busy looking after everyone else, they often forget to look after themselves.

It’s never really about the money. It’s about what money makes possible.

Money can give you a level of emotional safety that allows you to breathe, grow, and live life on your own terms

One of the best pieces of advice I ever received:

“Only take advice from people whose lives you admire.”

Everyone has an opinion on how you should live your life, who you should be with, what career you should pursue, and what decisions you should make.

But people give advice through the lens of their own experiences, beliefs, fears and insecurities.

Someone else’s advice might be right for them, but that doesn’t mean it’s right for you.

Before taking someone’s advice, ask yourself:

💫 Do I respect the way this person lives?

💫 Do their values align with mine?

💫 Have they got experience or wisdom that relates to what I’m going through?

You don’t want to build your life around someone else’s fears, limitations or beliefs.

Listen to many people, learn from their experiences, but be intentional about whose advice you follow 🤍

You might think your childhood didn’t affect you because you’ve grown up and moved on.

But it can still show up up in the way you overthink every conversation, struggle to accept criticism, put everyone else’s needs before your own, or feel like you’re never good enough.

When you grow up being criticised and judged, you can learn to constantly monitor yourself to avoid getting things wrong or disappointing others.

Fast forward to adulthood, you might still be living by those same rules without even realising it.

Once you recognise these patterns, you can start to change them.

You can learn to stop taking every mistake as a sign that you’ve failed, stop feeling responsible for everyone’s happiness, and stop treating yourself like you have to be perfect to be accepted.

You can start trusting yourself, expressing how you feel, and feeling comfortable being who you are without constantly worrying about what other people think.

Your childhood may have shaped these patterns, but it doesn’t have to dictate how you live your adult life. 🤍

Follow for more on how your childhood experiences shape your adult behaviours, relationships, and the way you see yourself.

Want to stop overthinking in 10 minutes, not 10 hours?

Comment PEACE and I’ll send you my free resource to help you break the overthinking spiral.

In the meantime, here are 5 reasons you overthink everything:

1. Your brain is trying to solve a problem.

Overthinking can be your brain’s attempt to find certainty, predict outcomes, or solve a problem. The difficulty is that it can become repetitive, leaving you analysing the same situation without reaching a solution

2. You grew up around criticism, judgement or unpredictability.

If you grew up feeling criticised, judged or as though you had to get everything right, you may have learned to monitor your words, actions and decisions carefully to avoid making mistakes or upsetting others. As an adult, this can show up as overthinking conversations, second-guessing yourself and worrying about what others think of you.

3. You’re living in survival mode.

When you experience ongoing stress or feel emotionally unsafe, your mind may become preoccupied with anticipating problems, preparing for the worst and trying to prevent something going wrong. What looks like overthinking may be an attempt to protect yourself from a threat, even when no immediate danger is present.

4. You’re afraid of making the wrong decision.

If you put pressure on yourself to make the perfect decision, you may overanalyse every option, question your judgement and keep searching for more information. You end up stuck in your head because making the wrong choice feels more threatening than making no choice at all.

5. You’ve learnt to seek reassurance outside yourself.

If you’ve struggled to trust your own judgement, you may repeatedly question your thoughts, decisions or interactions and look to others for confirmation that you’ve done the right thing. Over time, this can make it harder to feel confident in your own decisions without analysing them over and over.

You don’t have to stay stuck in the overthinking spiral.

Comment PEACE and I’ll send you the free guide.

Growing up, I wish I’d been told this more often.

You don’t have to do more, achieve more or be everything to everyone to be worthy. You are enough, just as you are. 🫶

Send this to a woman in your life who needs to hear this 💕

6 ridiculously simple things I did to stop overthinking everything:

1. I started focusing on regulating my nervous system.

When your body is stuck in a state of stress, your mind can struggle to switch off, and it’s much easier to get caught in overthinking spirals. I started focusing on helping my body feel safe and calm, rather than trying to think my way out of everything.

2. I started moving my body every single day.

Exercise became a way for me to release tension, manage stress, and get out of my head. I realised that sometimes, what I needed wasn’t to think about my problems even more, but to give my mind a break.

3. I stopped treating every thought as a fact.

Instead of automatically believing everything my mind told me, I started asking myself:

What actual evidence do I have that this is true?

I learnt that just because I think something doesn’t mean it’s true.

4. I started asking myself what I’d say to my best friend if she were overthinking the exact same situation.

This helped me step back, see things more objectively, and give myself the same compassion I so easily gave to other people.

5. I stopped waiting until I felt confident to do things.

I used to think I needed to work everything out in my head before taking action. However have come to realise the fastest way out of overthinking is to take one small step, even when you’re still unsure. Taking action gives you clarity.

6. I stopped spending so much time around people who were constantly critical, judgemental, and made me feel worthless.

Being around people who make you feel like you’re constantly doing something wrong keeps your nervous system on high alert, making it harder to switch off your mind.

If you’re an over thinker, I’ve created a free audio guide to stop an overthinking spiral in just 10 minutes. Comment PEACE and I’ll send it to you. 🤍
