Dear softball,

I don’t think I’ll ever have the perfect words for what I want to say but I’ll give it a go.

You have always been an outlet since 7th grade you were somewhere I was able to go to get away from all the noise around me. You have taught me patience, respect, kindness, but most of all you have taught me what it means when friends turn into family. When moving to Seattle it was terrifying to go to a new school and new travel team. But every week I knew I could come to practice and I would be able to talk forever with my friends. To the best coaches in the world Emily and Andy, you guys never failed to believe that I could be great. To my teammates, you guys gave me the strength and motivation to keep going even when I was in slumps, it was you guys who made me strong each and every day. I will always be #ptbh. Lastly, thank you to Bothell High school and Kamiakin High school for giving me the bestest of friends who I will continue to cherish forever. Special shoutout to Coach Bergez, you taught me how much I could love softball but also love the culture that comes with it, so thank you. Thank you softball I will love you forever. #2 signing out taken in Service Club Ball Fields by @kambrie.jade
