The guys were telling cool bow hunting stories on the @joeroganexperience and thanks to @cameronrhanes the story of my Oregon mountain lion got thrown in there. Pretty cool seeing that big cat getting some notoriety on the show! by @kamcanaday

~ Idaho bull
After 5 long days of solo back country style hunting with minimal success. I switched gears and landed in camp with friends @luke.dusenbury and @alexa.dusenbury
I can’t thank them enough for having me in their camp and sharing their knowledge of the unit openhandedly.
There is no doubt they both played a huge role in my success, arrowing a last day 6x6 bull here in Idaho.
It’s adventure such as these, I value most.
Having the capability to pursue these animals, being immersed in gods creation and experiencing this world the the way it ought to be experienced.. with like minded folks,
In the mountains, bow in hand…

When you take your wife hunting make sure she doesn’t forget the gun… it happens 🤷 😂😂
also she ended up killing a great blacktail buck later on that evening. She is awesome!! and we don’t mind sharing our funny bloopers from hunts past! It’s part of the fun. by @kamcanaday

The weather man called for rain all day here in Eugene… so the doctor prescribed us a comedy show… Thank the lord for @theovon and the boys for showing up & showing out in Matthew knight arena.. What an amazing show!! I can’t thank my friend @theovon enough for taking the time after the show to hang with the fam! If you haven’t seen one of Theos stand up shows yet.. get on it! He’s the best in the business and an even better person!

It’s truly amazing how awesome these animals are…
I spotted this bull bedded all alone, way up in the cliffs. My best guess was he had just got his ass kicked by a much bigger more mature heard bull & felt his presence wasn’t welcomed amongst the herd… aka my opportunity to get it done in Oregon…. I put my bugle tube away & put my “mule deer stalking skills” to the test once again….
as you can see it played out ok. 🏹
I feel very lucky and truly blessed to get the opportunity to chase these critters around the mountain with a bow and arrow. 🙌
