🌙 💙💖Proud nerd moment

On Saturday I got to debut my Sailor Moon Eternal cosplay which has been a work in progress for quite awhile.

Honestly I’ve never felt better in a costume and I’m kinda at a loss for words with how amazing the other patrons/cosplayers were to interact with here at @dragoncon

Special thanks to @emustudios.inc for helping with some finishing touches and @cyanmandesigns for making my suit concept a reality.

Hopefully there will be more Eternal Scouts joining me soon!

A few last minute additions for an incredible night ahead with @animenightofficial ☺️
There are still so many character themed trees I wanted to make, but wire weaving isn’t exactly fast 😅

The first tree features a new technique! I hollowed out a chunk of driftwood and made my own 💎geode💎 with crushed amethyst. Thoughts? taken in Buffalo, New York by @kamcosplay

Collecting materils for art really is a workout though 🏋️
.
It’s important to only take what you’ll use in some way, and of course to make sure you’re only picking up from public spaces. Respect nature 🏞️
.
My materials are heavily sourced directly from the would-be “removal ” piles after public beaches have been combed. Thankfully there’s always a LOT and it’s a renewable, naturally occurring medium. So here’s to getting out there and touching grass…or driftwood 🤓
