Major Life News
I’m proud to announce I’ve been selected for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Apprentice Program at Maine Medical Center in Portland — a 929-bed Level I Trauma Center.
I’ll work right alongside registered nurses as an essential part of the nursing team, performing critical medical tasks: taking vital signs, supporting patient mobility and transfers, monitoring intake/output, collecting specimens, providing essential care, and reporting changes in condition. I’ll also be CPR and BLS certified to assist during emergency codes.
This intensive 6-week paid program (May 11 – June 18) includes hospital clinicals. After passing the state exam, I’ll start full-time day shift as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Grateful and fully committed to this opportunity.
