Today I competed in the Winter Speed Madness at Illinois Wesleyan University! Overall I placed 4th out of 13 athletes with a jump of 16’5 (5.00m). So glad I got to compete at one indoor meet this year! Going to keep grinding in practice to prepare for this upcoming high school season!

working towards a hitch hang!! i have been working with Coach Amelia Marino from Illinois Wesleyan University to help improve my form and technique during my jumps. i’ve been working off the spring board for the past few weeks and i’m seeing lots of improvement! getting closer to being able to use this new skill during the 2026 season! by @kamdyn.jumps.27

I had the best time at the Illinois State University track and field camp this week! I learned a lot of information that I can carry over into my indoor and outdoor track seasons! Thank you to Coach Bovee for organizing such a great camp for everyone and bringing in a nutritionist and sports psychologist to talk to us. Also thank you to Rob for coaching me this past week and awarding me best female jumper along with @jordanc33dimke ! It was very fun to run through practice drills and getting to know all of other campers and ISU athletes like Rina and Cami! I am so thankful to have been able to attend this camp, it was very rewarding. taken in Horton Field House by @kamdyn.jumps.27

state!!

so thankful for this season with all of the challenges and struggles it brought. this season was to mainly focus on my mindset and to stay confident and to believe in myself even when things aren’t going well. the state meet proved that i made improvement this year and i was able to stay focused and happy even when i didn’t do my best. from being ranked 35th and finishing 16th out of 49 girls i am so so proud of myself. although i didn’t make finals, i am using it as fuel for next year. i also find the first jump funny because of how i put my foot down and if i hadn’t it would have been a pretty good jump 😜 anyways i am soooo grateful for this season and i can’t wait to see what God has in store for me next year!

SOOOOOO….. im state bound!!!!!! unfortunately no one got a video of my jumps, but that’s ok!! i was about a foot behind the board on every jump, so i’ve got some workin to do in this week’s FINAL practices of my sophomore season 😜 enjoy my photo dump from sectionals also :) taken in Pontiac Township High School by @kamdyn.jumps.27

i recently jumped a season best of 16’5 (5.00m) on april 22nd during mach speed and flight night! i also took on a new event… the 400! i’ve run it 2 times this season and my PR is 1:08.15! i also ran a PR in the 100 of 13.42 on april 24th. now today was amazing and I thank God for the talent he has given me. i started off my day with long jump and i wasn’t feeling specially nervous. i knew Jesus was with me and i was very confident in myself. I was also trying a 8 and 9 step for the first time and safe to say it went awesome! with the 8 step i got a new season record with 16’8 (5.08m) on my 2nd jump. i scratched my 3rd jump and what i am most proud of is how i responded to that and shattered that old season record with a jump of 16’10.5 (5.14m) on my 4th attempt! this makes me especially excited because that is state qualifying! after that I ran in the 4x1 relay for f/s and we got a 52.68! finally, i ran the 100m dash and demolished that record with a new 13.33! today went so well and i am looking forward to the rest of my season!!

first invite meet of the outdoor season!! i did long jump and the 4x2! i jumped 16’3.75 (4.97m), which isn’t my best but there definitely is improvement from my indoor meets. also coming off of an injury, i am very happy with my results. my relay team ran a 1:52.50 which is a season best for outdoor. i cant wait to see what God has in store for me for the rest of the outdoor season!

first indoor track meet as a sophomore! so proud of myself! i got a indoor pr of 16’5 in long jump! i placed 3rd overall out of 41 jumpers. i also ran the 4x2 and we placed 11th out of 21 teams! overall such a great day overall as a team and as an individual!!
