This was about 12 hours after our ultramarathon, filmed from the top of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise viewing deck, a cable cart station and pit stop for skiers, mountaineers, and tourists alike.

No matter how many times you'll see this, we are grateful for all your support.

Fundraiser is still live if you would like to make final donations and support the project 🏔#projectardua #ultramarathon #airleague #alps taken in Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, Zermatt by @kamilations

The day after our run, we took a 10km cable cart to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. A total elevation of 3,883 metres.

We took the display team with us of course.

Saw some amazing views.

Ate some oddly delicious food at almost 4,000m ASL...

We brought out legacy all the way up as well! Shout out to @runway25shop for these splendid patches.

Took a bunch of iconic photos.

Another one.

Proof that we were up at the Glacier Paradise ^^

ASK21, G-DEPD. East run winch with 6kts of sink. Suddenly found a 5kt thermal. Climbed to 2,500ft not breaching airspace boundaries and committed to a gradual descent back to the airfield. Full control.

Two weeks well spent at @londonglidingclub with a fabulous bunch of people.

This gliding Scholarship has taught me a lot about flying and airfield operations. From wanting to give up on Day 1, to going solo on day 7, and climbing 2000ft in thermals independently on day 9, the 10 days were a rollercoaster of emotion.

Briefings, studies, practice, and everything in-between guided me through this course and I'm grateful for everyone along the way.

Mark Vowles, for his excellent instruction.
The Air League, for this scholarship.
Boeing, for the sponsorship.
London Gliding Club, for the accommodation.
The instructors, for their guidance.
The scholars, for their friendship.
Everyone else, for being part of the journey.

Hoping to take the skills learnt onto powered flying pretty soon... by @kamilations

All originated from an email... ✈️

What started off as a question ended up in a week-long work placement on the run-up to the Grand Prix weekend where Turweston becomes the UK's largest heliport.

Monday to Thursday turned to Monday to Saturday and the experience has felt so natural to me.

Aviation is not just a passion, but a lifestyle I'm yearning to live.

Excited for the journey ahead
