On the last day of my first restaurant job at @maisongiraud I had @chefalaingiraud and @noubar_yessayan sign a blank apron, just for fun. Since then I’ve had many of the chefs I’ve been lucky enough to work with drop a sig, and this apron is officially full. Can we do it all again guys??

Rounding out my @latimes goodbye tour with the last full #chefwhisperer apron from my time there. For anyone new here, I ask every chef that I’m lucky enough to work with to drop their sig on an apron. (If there’s anyone I missed in the whirlwind of our last collab, let’s find a time for you to sign.)

To my chefs, thank you for jumping when I said jump, even if it seemed a little or a lot crazy. It’s an honor and a privilege to dream wildly big together, and I am always going to show up for you. For what it’s worth, I’m also pretty much always going to say yes when you ask to hang on a Monday night, even though your day off is usually my death day.

I knew I loved this world long before I got to L.A. Times, and I’m grateful to leave with a stronger bond to everyone in it, a bond that will keep going for many more apron signings to come.
