With a ❤️ so full of gratitude and unconditional love, for my birthday this year I naturally gravitated towards expressing this appreciation in my favourite way, through one of my favourite songs from my cherished time in Gospel choir (YUGC) way back😊

This year my soul grabbed life by the reigns researching, learning, discovering the world and myself deeper than ever before, while simultaneously surrendering to God/the Universe. I followed my intuition. I stood up for what I deserve and called all my energy back from that which was not serving me anymore. God has continued to bless me with more than I even imagined in return. I am beyond grateful for the real ones in my life and God revealing to me who they are. It’s so amazing… ☀️

The crane is a symbol of hope, peace and healing in the Japanese culture 🎋

If you’ve ever read “Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes”, as I did in grade 5, I’m sure you know how tough this read is emotionally on us empaths. Such a young, innocent girl, struggling with Leukemia as a result of war; Hiroshima bombings.

As the legend goes, anyone who folds 1000 paper cranes will have their heart’s desire come true 💫 and so this is exactly what my class and I did in memory of her 🕊 I fell in love with the art of origami.

Even writing this, it brings me tears all over again. This is why I do what I do. Peace, love, abundance, and natural healing is a God given right everyone deserves to bathe in. I live for this cause. 🌿
