Winning this award means more than recognition ,it’s a reminder that dreams rooted in purpose can grow into impact. 🐓

My dream is to see young people, women, and people with disabilities thrive in agriculture. I believe agriculture holds the power to boost our economy, create jobs, and change lives.

This win is for everyone who dares to believe that the soil beneath our feet can shape a better future . 🥬🐂🐑🐣🍅

Food security is everyone’s responsibility, and sometimes all it takes is starting with the space you already have.

I want to see more young people turning unused spaces in our townships and rural communities into spaces that grow food and generate income.
You don’t need hectares of land to start. With unemployment rising and our population growing, we need to rethink how we create opportunities and how our communities access fresh, nutritious food.

That small piece of land can become a garden. That garden can feed families. And that garden can become a business. 🥬🌶️🥒🍠🥔🌽

This past weekend, I had the absolute honour of hosting over 250 women at Farming in Heels and my heart is so full. 🥳

What makes this event so special to me is that it was never just about gathering women in one room. My vision for Farming in Heels is to create a powerful platform that connects students and aspiring farmers with established farmers, industry leaders and agricultural stakeholders.

To every woman who attended, every farmer, student, speaker, partner and agricultural stakeholder who contributed to making the day so inspiring thank you. ❤️
