a handful of my favorite frames from pilgrimage (link in bio) proudly shot on 3 & 4 perf 35mm @kodak_shootfilm

for those asking: the space vfx were hand created by @andriklangfield in blender (we did not use AI in any capacity on this film). he did an incredible job & the film really wouldn’t have been the same without his visuals! he also shot a handful of practical effects that made the cut and blended really well with the cgi!

PILGRIMAGE - OUT NOW (link in bio) | an experimental, abstract film, proudly shot on 35mm 3 & 4 perf film @kodak_shootfilm

“A dead man embarks on a spiritual journey through the wilderness”

today’s the day! stoked to finally release this small experimental film that so many people poured their hearts into.

I could say a ton about the process of this project, but my main takeaways are:

- go shoot film
- don’t use generative AI
- make sure you’re surrounded by good people ♥️
