Joining BJP is something that I had never envisioned for myself. However, this is just what the Master doctor ordered for me, so to speak. Being a die-hard patriot of our great & glorious India, an ‘andh bhakt’ of our Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi, this is a natural, next-step for me.

My motherland, Bharat 🇮🇳, has showered me with abundant opportunities in my career as a journalist & now as an author, for which I am eternally grateful. In our great Sanathana Dharma, our karma includes our Rashtra Dharma too — duty towards one’s country. I truly believe it in my heart that this is my time to serve my motherland with love!

I am eternally grateful to Mahila Morcha Zila Mahamantri @hetal_upadhyay for opening the doors for me & being my guide & mentor in my journey to serve with love. It is an honour & privilege🙏🏼

On 13 September, 2026, I officially joined BJP. At the able hands of NW Zila Adhyaksh, Gyan Murti Sharma, the traditional ritual of Parv Paksh was done. #nationfirst #indiagram #patriot #dharma

There’s no place on earth that I would rather be other than the abode of supreme bliss — PRASANTHI NILAYAM at Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, South India. Here is where Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba resides. Yes, I am using the present tense ‘is’, as Baba lives on; He is eternal; He is God.

Prasanthi Nilayam is the abode of divine love that Baba built; here is where I found mySelf, much like millions of His devotees found themselves. I have learned the meaning of seva with love at the western canteen, and at the Book Trust. It is here that many of Baba’s miracles (leelas) have unfolded for me. Here is where I find unconditional love that sustains my entire being to this day, and I joyfully share with those fortunate ones who care to receive this love with open arms. Every devotee of Baba can write volumes on the leelas that have happened in their lives & continue to happen, with the grace of Baba.

Prasanthi Nilayam is Baba’s heaven on earth! Here is where you enter as a rough-cut diamond, and after being put through the gruelling paces of life, you walk out the precincts of Prasanthi as Baba’s very-own, well-polished sparkling diamond & walk the earth as His messenger of divine love! #prasanthinilayam #srisathyasaibaba #god #divinelove #indiagram by @kanandivecha

The Wisdom Of Yogānanda, Vol. 2 ~ KARMA AND REINCARNATION is a choice collection of Paramhansa Yogānanda’s lessons & articles he wrote in the 1920s & 1030s. Much of what is included in this volume is not available elsewhere.

Karma, to me as I understand now, is created when our actions are laced with a desire for the fruits of those actions. We are reincarnated until such time that we cleanse / burn all karmas from past lives, exhaust all vasanas & tendencies. We can attain this state of mukti after we have mastered the game of life — we are not the mind, we are not the body; we are Ātmā. It takes hundreds of lifetimes & the grace of God to function as Ātmā. Until such time, we are reincarnated on earth again & again.

In this volume, Paramhansa Yogānanda reveals what happens at death, the astral world which is quite like our planet earth, astral climate, astral houses, even astral diseases & crimes! There is also a detailed “study” on reincarnation wherein Paramhansa Yogānanda deep dives into areas that are so revealing that this volume is like a one-stop shop for karma & reincarnation aficionados.

I have read & reread this book in different decades of my life. Each reading unfurls a new nugget commensurate with my level of consciousness at the time, and each reading is a mirror to me that shows me where I am at in my game of life. #paramhansayogananda #karma #reincarnation #lifeafterdeath #lifeisagame by @kanandivecha

We are what we think. Our thoughts help build a beautiful life, or, they destroy us. Which is why it is said that the mind can be our greatest friend or our greatest enemy. Heaven or hell is in our thoughts. Being mindful of what appears on our mental screen is therefore important. #mind #thoughts #karma #heaven #hell by @kanandivecha

Mountains and rivers are where magic actually happens! They match inner consciousness, balance the heart’s abounding love, joy & peace with outer silence, expansiveness & beauty. Here is where our Gods live, meditate, support & protect existence. Interestingly, what we discover outside, is always a reflection of what is inside us. Time & grace will always take us to these magnificent places which we have journeyed within. #mountains #rivers #natureheals #consciousness #oneness by @kanandivecha

This beautiful song brings back golden memories of years ago, when my beloved Baba was in His physical form, and as was the daily ritual at the time, thousands of us devotees were waiting in the afternoon darshan line for entry into Sai Kulwant Hall for the evening Rudram, bhajans, and darshan. Sitting beside me to my left was a Dutch devote humming this beautiful song – Killing Me Softly. I spontaneously joined in with a few lines as it is one of my favourite songs. She smiled and revealed that this was her song to sweet Swami. She then revealed that she never usually spoke to anyone while sitting in the darshan line, but she didn’t know why that day she was prompted from within to talk to me! Baba‘s Leela, I understood immediately! He, the Knower of all our dreams and desires, knew I had wished for myself on that trip to the Ashram to ask foreign devotees what drew them to Baba. Voilà. He made it happen for me with as many devotees He had picked for me to speak with, this one included. Music is the food of divine love, and the God of all gods – Baba – used music in his inimitable way to let His divine love flow! #Satyasaibaba #prashanthinilayam #god #divinelove #heavenonearth by @kanandivecha
