Claude Code graded 30 days of my work in 2 minutes. Half of what it found was my fault. The command is /insights. Most people never run it. It reads your past month of sessions and hands back a report with 4 areas: What’s working. The habits worth keeping. What’s hindering you. Where you lose time, split between Claude’s fault and yours. Quick wins. Fixes you can copy today. Ambitious workflows. What you’re ready for next. Mine came back with receipts. Exact moments, pulled from my own sessions. Hard to argue with your own transcripts. Save this for your next Claude session. #ClaudeCode #ClaudeAI #AIWorkflow #AIProductivity #AIForBusiness by @kanani.ching
Inman Connect San Diego was one to remember🌴✨ A huge congratulations to @kanani.ching & @appletiare, who were selected as Inman Community Leaders - two of just 20 real estate professionals chosen for this year’s Community Leaders in recognition of their leadership, collaboration, and contributions to the Inman community. The Sunday night dread is not a personality trait. It is a system gap. You go to bed without a read of the week. So you wake up doing math you should have done Friday afternoon. Q: What is the difference between monday-brief and friday-brief?
A: monday-brief is forward-looking. Cash, sales last 7 days, pipeline, top 3 to-dos for this week. Drops at 6am Monday. friday-brief is the close-out. Revenue versus prior week, top sellers, what to watch over the next 7 to 14 days. Use both. They bookend the week. Q: Why are there two contract-review skills?
A: contract-review is the slash command. Fast. Plain English. Marked up. Use it for the routine NDAs and the third vendor MSA this quarter. review-contract is the conversational version. Walks you through severity, asks about your tolerance, surfaces business impact. Use it when the contract is over $10,000 or with a new counterparty. Same engine, different interface. Q: What does job-post-builder actually deliver?
A: Job post copy, a 5-question structured interview with a scoring rubric, an offer letter template, and a Docusign envelope ready to send. A growing HVAC company hires its first dispatcher in 5 days end to end. Customer service is not just about responding faster. It is about finding patterns early enough to protect trust, retention, and reputation. Claude for Small Business includes workflows that can help analyze customer feedback, identify recurring themes, draft responses, review support tickets, and suggest operational fixes. Example prompt to adapt: “Analyze these recent customer messages and reviews. Identify the top three recurring issues, show examples, draft responses, and recommend one operational improvement for each issue.” This is where AI becomes more than a writing tool. It becomes a listening system. The goal is not to automate empathy. The goal is to make sure no important customer signal gets buried. Planning a 2 week marketing campaign could easily turn into a bottleneck. Claude for small business plugin has Four skills for One afternoon. Idea to scheduled posts completed easily. Skill one is run campaign. This includes an end to end, sales analysis, content brief, Canva assets, with a HubSpot send. One command and you’re done. Skill two is content strategy. This will find your top clients and slow movers in PayPal and QuickBooks data. Layers in seasonality and produces a thirty day brief on what to push, promote, or hold. Skill three is canva-creator. This will take your approved campaign and build the calendar. Then generate Canva designs for instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn with your captions. Skill four is sales brief. It will identify top to bottom seasonality patterns and produce a two week brief to send to your sphere. A business can approve a campaign on Monday morning and by Monday night twelve posts can be queued for the next three weeks. Your business does not need another app. It needs a brain. Most small business owners are running 12 tools, 4 spreadsheets, and a head full of stress. Mornings start by opening QuickBooks, then PayPal, then HubSpot, then email, then Calendar. By 9am you are reactive, not running the business. Q: What is the Claude for Small Business plugin?
A: A bundle of connectors, skills, and slash commands that lets Claude act inside your real tools. QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Docusign. Anthropic announced it 05-13-2026. Q: Where does an owner start with 30 skills?
A: Three. smb-onboard sets your business context once and persists it forever. smb-router translates “I do not know where to start” into the right skill in two questions. business-pulse is your one-page Monday morning replacement for opening five apps. For a professional services firm: smb-router takes “I have no time” and turns it into a sequence. Pull this report. Send these emails. Close these deals. This is the foundation reel. The next seven stack on these three. Skip them and the rest of the plugin feels random. A CRM should create clarity, not more admin work. Claude for Small Business includes workflows that help with lead triage, call lists, CRM cleanup, contact updates, stale deal reviews, and follow-up drafting. The real business value is prioritization. Instead of asking, “Who should I follow up with?” AI can help identify the highest-intent contacts, summarize context, and draft next-step messages. Example prompt to adapt: “Review my recent leads and CRM activity. Give me the top five people to contact today, the reason each one matters, and a short follow-up message for each.” AI will not fix a weak offer or poor sales process, but it can make follow-up faster, cleaner, and more consistent. Customer complaints are the cheapest market research you will ever get. Most owners ignore them until they live on Yelp. Q: What is the actual difference between customer-pulse and customer-pulse-check?
A: customer-pulse is the deep monthly read. Aggregates everything. Themes. Quotes. Recommendations. customer-pulse-check is the lightweight in-between. One specific signal you want to check this week. Same underlying data, different scope. Use customer-pulse on the 1st. Use customer-pulse-check anytime you have a hunch something is off. Q: Does ticket-deflector send refunds automatically?
A: No. It drafts the response and queues the refund. You approve. Tone is matched to your voice and the customer’s history. The shipping question becomes a 2-minute approval instead of a 20-minute write. Q: When do I use handle-complaint instead of ticket-deflector?
A: ticket-deflector is the front line. Quick resolution on a known issue. handle-complaint is the deeper workflow when the complaint reveals an operational pattern. It drafts the customer response and recommends the system fix so it does not happen again. Bad reviews are leading indicators of systems gaps. These skills find them first. Finance is one of the fastest places to see ROI from AI because most business owners lose time gathering information before they can make a decision. Claude for Small Business includes workflows for payroll planning, month-end prep, invoice chasing, tax-season organization, cash-flow snapshots, margin analysis, and pricing checks. The opportunity is simple: use AI to surface what needs attention before it becomes a problem. Example prompt to adapt: “Review my current cash position, upcoming expenses, overdue invoices, and expected deposits. Show me the top three risks and what action I should take this week.” Important note: AI can help organize and analyze financial information, but it should not replace your CPA, tax professional, or bookkeeper. You didn’t get your license to write the same email 40 times. You got it to work with people. Help families. Close deals. But somewhere between the follow-ups, the admin, the CRM updates, and the morning scramble, the actual work got buried under the busywork. The question isn’t how do I work harder. It’s what can I hand off. And the answer is almost all of your admin. In my next free webinar, Claude for Real Estate Professionals, I show you exactly what to give to AI and how to set it up live, on June 25. Comment WEBINAR and I’ll send you the link to RSVP today. #RealEstateAI #AIForAgents #RealEstateTech #ClaudeAI #RealEstateProductivity by @kanani.ching
Be honest. You type emails one at a time. You pull comps by hand. You rebuild your follow-up list from memory every single morning. That’s not hustle. That’s no systems with a smartphone. The agents pulling ahead this year aren’t working harder. They’re working smarter. They’ve offloaded their daily admin to AI and freed themselves to prospect, show, and close. I’m showing you exactly how to do this, live and free, in my upcoming webinar Claude for Real Estate Professionals on June 25. No tech skills required. No cost. Just a working system you can start using the same day.
