Freehand backpiece done for my client Taylor. We worked on this two days in a row. I am so grateful to have clients who trust my vision and follow through with getting their tattoos finished. I am looking forward to what the future holds for us as a collective when it comes to creativity and inspiration. You can email me or book a consultation, whichever is easier for you. I have so many ideas and I probably will be posting designs very soon but I thought it would be good to post this as well. I also hope this can be a way for some to reconnect with ancestral memories, cause that’s what it feels like for me as a tattooer. Yes I am still tattooing! Who knows what’s next, I might join the circus 😂 I’m always on some crazy side quest but I am especially enjoying this one. This all started randomly in January. I hadn’t even been around a horse before this since I was a kid living in New York where I would ride a pony named Butterscotch. If you’d like to get tattooed I am booking July and August! Completed freehand (drawn directly on, no stencil) sleeve for my client Robin. We did the lower half three years ago and did the entire upper arm today in a five/six hour session. I love how this came out and would love to do more like it! Freehand tribal leg piece. My client started this tattoo with a ceremonial session from me where we set the intention for the tattoo to serve as a talisman, helping him move forward with confidence and clarity. During our second session, he shared with me that he feels the ceremony definitely worked! That made me so happy and reminded me of yet another reason why I love tattooing so much. Hand tattoos on my beloved client Samori 🥹

These tattoos were created to honor his Orishas and include Nsibidi symbols on the fingers, an ancient symbolic language from West Africa carrying meaning beyond words.
