✨️A Darker Shore release day signing✨️

What an amazing experience to have new Six of Crows content after 10 years and getting to attend @lbardugo's signing on release day!!!

We pregamed it with tacos and margaritas and I got to hand out some bookmarks I made to fellow Dregs in line.

Leigh loved the crow masquerade mask I gave her and told me she's going to put it on her wall. What!!

Thank you for taking us back to Ketterdam Leigh!!

@netflix gave us unhinged, brutal Kaz in S2. Now give us funny Kaz in the spinoff. 🙏 I need to see him make his yo mama joke 🙏

✨️I devoured this✨️

My love for this series is absurd and unmatched. I’ll be honest, this book was never going to be anything less than 5 stars for me. This is Leigh’s best writing yet.

We’ve been to hell and back with Alex, watched her become something more than just a girl scraping by on a little magic, and now we’ve come to the end of her journey. I have so many thoughts about this story, the ending, the way everything wrapped up so neatly but I don’t think I can articulate them all clearly.

This journey did not belong to Alex alone though. She could not have gotten through without Dawes, Turner, Tripp, and especially Darlington. Found family is my favorite trope and this rag tag group did not disappoint.

A slip of a girl from Los Angeles bringing the Yale elite to their knees has brought me so much joy. This being the finale is bittersweet but I know I’ll reread the entire series again sooner rather than later. In fact reading the physical book wasn’t enough, I will start the audiobook soon.

This entire series is weird, gory, and brilliant. It may not be for everybody but it's definitely special to me. If you enjoyed books 1 and 2 then you'll love book 3.

"Hell is empty and all the devils are here"

I've been waiting for this!! And my excitement was ramped up after attending the release party. Pictured above are the contents of the infamous black box we received at the party.

Now please excuse me while I go back to hell with Alex and Darlington. 😈 Review post pending. taken in Yale University by @kanej6crows

Got a DM from Flatiron Books then this happened! I got invited to the Dead Beat launch party!!! WHAT!?

Seriously though, Leigh Bardugo is one of my favorite authors and attending this party for my most anticipated book release of the year was UNREAL.

Thank you @flatiron_books for this amazing opportunity.

I can't wait to go back to hell with Alex 🖤

✨️ Appreciation post for A Darker Shore ✨️

QOTD: If you could visit one of your favorite fantasy worlds where would you go?

I'd like to say Ketterdam but I'd get robbed blind in under an hour. 😂

It's been 10 years since Crooked Kingdom (sequel to Six of Crows) was published so when Leigh announced new content of course the fandom rejoiced.

It was a pleasure to return to the streets of Ketterdam and to peek in on my babies. The short story is told through a series of letters between the Dregs as well as the recorded minutes between 2 investigators.

It was a brilliant way for Leigh to give us a little insight into the lives of my favorite hooligans years after the events of Crooked Kingdom.

If Leigh Bardugo writes it, I'm reading it.
