Spent the last three weeks in Tahiti scoring amazing waves, hanging with good people, and enjoying the beauty of the place. It was crazy to be out at Teahupoo over the last week watching it do its thing, and I’m grateful to have gotten a couple of sick waves myself. Maururu to all of the locals for being so inviting, and for having me and the rest of us visiting from Hawaii at your home break. Big thanks especially @terevadavid @bigizlandryan for accommodating me and making sure that I had everything I needed while I was there. Such a magical place, and I hope to be back soon. 10 point ride and an 8.17 backup from my round 3 heat today at the @hsamaui Legends of the Bay event. Mahalo to everyone who made this event happen, definitely some of the best waves I’ve surfed in a jersey. Ended up making the final and getting 4th overall after a full day of surfing. Nui ka ho’omaika’i 🙏🏽

Hau’oli makahiki hou everybody! My little sister @yahdinski came and visited me for a couple of days this New Year’s week, and it just so happened I knew a song on the ukulele that she knew the hula to. 2nd place finish at the Hale’iwa International Open!! Happy to be finishing up this year by spending a day competing and making the finals! I’ve competed in this event since I was 17 and haven’t ever made it past the quarterfinals until this year haha, so I’m very stoked. Feels like all of the training I’ve been doing with @hawaiisurfandperformance as well as all the work I’ve put into my surfing and honestly my everyday life is finally paying off. It was such a fun event, mahalo @hiohawaii and everyone else who put this on. Big ups to my competitors too, that was good fun surfing with all of you. And mahalo to everyone who’s been supporting me throughout the entire year and especially through the last few contests. Aloha everybody hau’oli makahiki hou 🤙🏽
