For the past 16 months, Neon Nomadz has been creating a different kind of nightlife experience in Eldoret, one centred on music, community and movement rather than the ordinary club atmosphere.

Held once every month at Vinery Lounge in Lower Elgon View, the paid event brings together fans of Afrohouse, Amapiano, 3 Step and Gqom for an immersive musical experience. Organisers describe it as one of Eldoret’s longest-running monthly alternative music events, attracting people searching for something beyond the conventional night out.

After 16 monthly editions, organisers are now working towards a major Neon Nomadz festival. The planned festival is expected to bring the community together on a larger scale while showcasing the sounds, performers and experiences that have shaped the movement.

The next Neon Nomadz experience, themed Earth & Bass, takes place on Friday, 11 September 2026, at Vinery Lounge, Lower Elgon View. Gates open at 6:00 PM, with the experience continuing until late.

Music curators @kangu_her , @mix_xila , Abby, @imran_galti and The Band will take audiences through an energetic blend of Afrohouse, 3 Step, Amapiano and Gqom.

Entry: KSh 500 for one or KSh 800 for two.

For @neon_nomadz, every gathering is another step towards building an alternative music culture and transforming a creative nightlife concept into a lasting movement in Eldoret.

On this week’s Alumni Focus……. @kangu_her

Not every DJ is meant to sound the same.

The real journey is discovering your identity behind the decks—finding the sound that feels authentic and building the confidence to share it with the world.

That is exactly what @kangu_her has been doing.

From her days at Red Berry Deejay Academy to developing her own style and growing as an artist, she’s showing that success isn’t about following the crowd—it’s about creating your own lane.

We’re incredibly proud to see one of our alumni stepping into her own and moving dancefloors with confidence.

Keep going, Kangu-Her . Your sound is your superpower, and this is only the beginning.
