@americanadventurelab MOLLE door panels. I got these in October and just now installed them, thinking I might have to take off the door panels to remove the droopy netting completely. But, nope. Just cut it on out of there. Pull the elastic at the top really tightly when you cut it and what little remains of it will disappear in the panel. The rear, pictured first, has good standoff from the panel. The front will sandwich very closely to the panel, which makes them not as useful to stick things in and potentially tougher to weave MOLLE straps through. I added 1/4” aluminum spacers and I like it much better. The trade off is that there is no bottom, so paper or small items may fall all the way through. I wanted this style because others with built-in cup holders steal too much of what little leg room we have. AAL has these nifty MOLLE pouches, which work for me as I can mount them on the aft end of the panel and it’s not up against my calf while driving. And obviously collapses when empty unlike a fixed cup holder. Large flared cups will fit, though normal sized 16 ouncers get swallowed up as your can see. Water bottles small and tall both work great! Pics at the end show how tightly the fronts would mount without spacers. I also used 1” screws instead of the supplied 3/4” screws to accommodate the spacers. Here’s a few videos taken on Poughkeepsie and Naomi’s great sweeping view of Lake Como. Like every other crawling video, “The Wall” doesn’t look like much. It was so fun, Naomi did it twice 😁. And no, I didn’t run over her. 😉 BTW, V’s video was better than mine, but I don’t have that one. What a great capper to a fantastic week!! Thanks especially to @bucketthejeep & @bruja4x4, V and Moose for making it so much more!!!

About lunchtime we took note of the tall snow markers for the plows, then got to Poughkeepsie Gulch & took in the falls. At the top of “The Wall” we took a ridiculous amount of pics. Climb videos to follow… by @kansasslim

My plan this day was to take Ophir Pass back across after Black Bear and the Million Dollar Highway back to Ouray. The crew I linked up with were going to take Imogene, but because the Telluride side is closed due to a washout, we all took the Ophir Pass. Not technical or difficult, but some motorcycles had a tough time in the large loose rocks toward the top. All in all, a nice cap for a quick day. taken in Ophir Pass Trail by @kansasslim

The day after our visit to Bridal Veil Falls from the bottom, I embarked on the primary reason for my visit to the San Juans. I wanted to run Black Bear Pass before it ends up getting closed permanently. I parked at the entrance and aired down and this crew of three rigs rolled in. Since I was solo. I asked if I could join and they graciously took me in. Solid group of couples from Ft Worth. If anyone knows them, DM me! My email for them is wrong. On Sunday I gave the Mrs a break from high altitudes and shelf roads (sort of) and we took the highway over to Telluride for lunch at the @browndogpizza and a trip to Bridal Veil Falls from the bottom up. And Hazel got a Gondola ride! taken in Telluride, Colorado by @kansasslim

Part 1, Day 1. Linked up with IG friends @bruja4x4 @bucketthejeep with Moose and Ms V to begin a day I’ve dreamed of since we last visited the San Juan’s in 2020 but were cut short on our trail explorations. Having these two Rocky Mountain women guiding the day on Imogene made us love the San Juan’s all the more!
