MEET THE TEAM: SNAN πŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ Say hello to Snan (pronounced n-a-n), one of the newest faces in the Kanto kitchen! πŸ‘‹ Originally from Thailand, Snan brings his love of bold flavours, curries and stir-fries to the team. We asked him a few quick questions so you can get to know him a little better… 🍜 Favourite dish on the menu: Curries and stir-fries (can’t choose just one!) 🌏 Originally from: Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ 🍽️ Favourite thing to cook: Red Curry… of course! πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‚ Most likely to be found in the kitchen: Making something delicious! ❀️ Favourite thing about working here: The lovely team and working together πŸ”₯ We’re so happy to have Snan as part of the Kanto family. Make sure you say hello next time you’re visiting us at @dunkertonspark ✨ by @kantochelt
A little bit of Chinese, a little bit of Filipino, and a whole lot of food to share with the gang πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ One of our favourite things is seeing you mix and match from both kitchens! A few dumplings here, a bowl of ramen there, some chicken adobo and baos on the side… because why not have a bit of everything πŸ”₯ Chinese and Filipino food might be pretty different, but both are all about big flavours, sharing dishes and getting everyone around the table. Who are you bringing to @dunkertonspark this weekend?πŸ‘‡ by @kantochelt
Flavours from Southeast Asia πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ AD @kantochelt are one of the fabulous food vendors at @dunkertonspark, serving predominantly Filipino-inspired street food, as well as dishes from other Asian cuisines. We headed there over the weekend to try some new menu items: πŸŽƒ Pulled pork adobo bao buns – their Halloween special black lotus bao buns; tasty and generously filled. πŸ₯˜ Gata red curry with crispy duck – this one packed some heat! Delicious Thai-inspired dish with a moreish sauce. πŸ— Special wok fried rice with chicken – loved the mixture of the adobo-style chicken with the fried rice. A really flavourful dish! 🍚 Special wok fried rice – a great veggie option that didn’t feel too heavy. Overall we really enjoyed the selection of dishes we tried and thought the portions were decent too! Our favourite dishes had to be the Gata red curry and the special wok fried rice with chicken. We’re big fans of Filipino food and have followed Kanto since their early days when they were known as Humble Kusina, and it’s great to see them expanding their menu and showcasing new dishes. Maybe one day we’ll see sinigang on the list πŸ‘€ πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ πŸ“ Kanto @kantochelt at Dunkertons Park @dunkertonspark Dowdeswell Park, The Barlands, London Rd, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham GL52 6UT @cotswoldfoodjournal Cheltenham | Gloucestershire | Cotswold bloggers | Cotswold content creators | Visit Cheltenham | Street food in Cheltenham | Filipino food Cheltenham | Asian food in Gloucestershire | Cheltenham foodie | Dunkertons Park by @kantochelt
