October… a time that brings joy, but also sheds light on the quiet battles so many are fighting behind closed doors.

Breast cancer awareness isn’t just about wearing pink for a month;it’s about checking in on yourself, prioritizing your health, supporting the fighters, honoring the warriors, and remembering those we’ve loved and lost. You never truly know what someone is going through, so let’s lead with extra grace, spread vital information, and remind each other to schedule those mammograms and self-exams.

Knowledge saves lives. Love and strength to everyone touched by this journey

Show some love to the biggest drake connoisseur our September brother of the month… Marlin Ring. Born in Tampa Florida, but raised in Gulf Breeze Fl. Marlin is apart of our epsilon group rushing in fall of 2025. Marlin has been through the highs and lows and the focal point of the chapter. He has brought an abundance of excitement, honor, and ultimately brotherhood. Outside of KA, Marlin named after the most sought after game fish, loves to do anything outdoors-from fishing, hunting, to playing any sport you can think of he is the pinnacle of growth and success.

Few words from Marlin:
“Why KA? I was initially introduced to KA through my dad, who is a UWF/KA alumni. I chose to stick around because they had the exact thing I was looking for.. a genuine friendship that I could trust. I found that in a few people when I first came around and it was strong enough to make me want to be apart of the success of this brotherhood. I wouldn’t choose it any other way no matter how many chances I had. I love and trust my brothers. That is my why.” by @kao_uwf
