This past year God gave me life and a purpose. Lord knows how much I prayed for a place I could dwell in His presence and feel safe to let down my walls in order to take the steps necessary to become a better person and follower of Christ. I am not perfect by any means, but I am thankful for @pearlstreetchurch for providing me a place that feels like home and with people who continually pray for me and hold me accountable. by @kapowski25

The people around you matter so much…

To the people who loved me through one of the biggest healing seasons of my life—thank you. I did things I wasn’t proud of, hurt people along the way, and had a lot of things I needed to face within myself. But so many of you chose to love me through it, hold me accountable, pray for me, and remind me of my faith when I needed it most.

Therapy is going well, and I’m learning, unlearning, growing, and giving myself grace along the way. Through it all, my foundation in God never left. His love never ended, and He never stopped pursuing me—even when I was far from the person I wanted to be.

I know I didn’t get through this alone. To everyone who prayed for me, stayed, checked in, held me accountable, and believed there was more in me—thank you. 🤍 taken in Austin, Texas by @kapowski25

If you know, you know…

God doesn’t call the qualified — He qualifies the called.

Three years ago, I didn’t even know how to work a camera. I just knew I had a passion for photography, and somehow God put a calling on my life and started opening doors I never thought I’d walk through.

He’s placed me in rooms I never imagined I’d be in, allowed me to capture moments I never thought I’d have access to, and continues to teach me along the way.

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still figuring it out.

But when God puts a calling and a passion on your life, no person, no doubt, and no obstacle can stand in the way of what He has for you.
