As September comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize the importance of this month and the conversations it encourages.

September is National Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about mental health, look out for one another, and learn how we can help keep our communities safe, supported, and connected throughout every semester.

Be attentive to those around you, check in with your community, and don’t forget to check in with yourself, too. You never have to navigate difficult moments alone.

The Brothers of Kappa Theta Tau stand together in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Let’s continue to look out for one another, create spaces where people feel supported, and remind each other that no one has to face difficult moments alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. 💛 by @kappathetatau

Yesterday, Kappa Theta Tau hosted a 5K fundraiser in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a charity that seeks to support children with cancer by funding crucial research, supporting families, and raising awareness about the disease. We collaborated with 8 organizations, were sponsored by Red Bull, RYSE, and NeuroGum, and we raised over $1,500 for the cause! Thank you so much to everyone: our runners, walkers, sponsors, and volunteers for supporting this fundraiser and having a blast with us in the process! 🍋🧃🏃 by @kappathetatau
