Inspired by Tehaikovsky’s Waltz of Flowers from The Nutcracker, this piece follows Mariia, the main character, as she enters a fantastical world filled with colour, wonder and delight. I connect her journey to my own arrival in Berlin —a chaotic, overwhelming and beautiful new world.
