our mighty Oak is almost 3 months old. 🌳

I’ve been thinking a lot on what to share about this new season… it’s changed me and wrecked me in all of the best ways. I have never been so face to face with the Gospel in real time than I have during my pregnancy, birth & becoming a mother as a whole. My heart now lives outside by body. There are few words that describe just how remarkable it’s been, but my constant prayer for my son is that he would be modest enough to know he is not the hero and be brave enough to follow the One who is. That he would grow up confident in who he is in Christ.

2 months married to my best friend.

This is something sacred. Being in covenant with God together has made me feel so near to Him.

To hold the title in your heart of being your wife is the greatest achievement I could ever receive, other than being a daughter of the Most High. Though I am the least deserving, He gave me the gift of a Husband submitted to Jesus. I’ll always be grateful & hopeful for what’s to come. 💛 by @karafbritton

Said goodbye to our house & on to the next.. we’re moving to Kennesaw 💛

Our God is faithful. He’s in the middle. He holds it all together. We have so much love for 12stone church and the people that helped shape us. I won’t get over it. We have both individually felt so poured into, known and loved by all of our people at this church. And for that, we are so grateful.

We are so excited to step into a new season as newlyweds— as Riley becomes the middle school pastor @ NorthStar church 🥹💛

It’s abundantly clear that God is calling us here. We drove to the campus, and when we got there, there was no one there, just us and God. “You Hold It All Together” by Maverick City was playing in the background. We prayed, we cried, we laughed, and we heard from the Lord. It was evident that those lyrics were what we needed to hear. As seasons change, our God remains the same & remains good. We could not be more thankful for this opportunity and the blessings that are already coming out of it. Jesus lead the way !!!! by @karafbritton

Jesus, thank you.

God thank you for sending your Son as a sacrifice for our sins, so we can have peace in this life and spend all of eternity with you in the next.

God, you have redeemed so much in my life.

Thank you Jesus for entrusting me with my wife. When her beautiful eyes look at me, I am reminded that your plan is so much better than mine.

Kara loves you so much Lord, and now we get to spend the rest of our lives growing closer to you.

There are so many people to thank, so many blessings from a community of people who love Kara and I.

And it is all because of you, Yahweh and your perfect plan. We give you all the praise! We glorify you for all of our days. In Jesus name. Amen. by @karafbritton

25 years of the man that God so kindly hand-crafted for me.

He just wants people to know Jesus. He points me to the cross, and besides Jesus he shows me the love I always dreamed of and never thought was possible. I could go on and on about the work that our Father has done in his life. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it.
