can’t believe it’s been a week since i was in recovery mode from @alexahong + @_derekreeves‘ dream-like / epic wedding!!! 🤍🪩✨
that fairytale day was a long time coming and i’m so honored i was able to celebrate with you guys the whole way through! 🥂
from the surprise engagement in mammoth to all the fun dress fittings, to the amazing bachelorette weekend in nola, to the dreamiest summer bridal shower alllll the way to the big day…my heart is so full for my friends. 🥹💘

i could tell when we became friends (25 YEARS AGO!!) that i would never again meet anyone quite like @alexahong !! 👯‍♀️💚💛
i’m happy to say that has proven true to this day! (she’s awesome - iykyk).

growing up together in this life-long friendship has been an experience like no other and i know it’s only going to get better from here!

i spent a lot of time thinking about all the things i could say about this wonderful human, but i think we can all gather that i’m not quite as masterful with my words as @caredaly is with hers.

but let me just say this…
years ago, during one of our many ‘car talks’, i remember saying that i almost ended up living in another city and not just 2 minutes up the street and i thought out loud, “i probably never would’ve met you, how weird!”
i’ll never forget the immediate, effortless response of, “nah, we would’ve crossed paths eventually. it was meant to be.”

and THAT alone is all you need to know in understanding how brilliant my life-long friend is!! ✨
celebrating her 30th birthday with 25 years of friendship under our belts feels meant to be! 💚💙
