Saturday, 29th August 6:30-8:30pm / 19:30-21:30 h the Peoples Station returns to www.jungletrain.net. This time we dedicate the whole two hours to KaraKara b2b Shifty Rogue of Berlin-based HnG Picnics and bring you a live-recording of their set at Yaam Sunset Sessions that took place two weeks ago.

KaraKara and Shifty Rogue are the duo behind HnG Picnics. What started as informal gatherings among friends grew into a collective connecting Berlin’s house, bass and breakbeat communities. Last year, KaraKara took part in the Femme Bass Mafia soundsystem program, building what became Angel Audio. This summer, HnG started a regular jungle sunset session at YAAM, powered by Angel Audio. They return to YAAM on 26th September for the next one, keep your eyes peeled and don´t miss it, the first two events were a blast!

KaraKara (@karakapybara) connects the dots between Chicago’s ghetto house, #juke and #footwork traditions and the UK’s #jungle, #garage and #breakbeat lineage.

Playful, bass-heavy and completely unapologetic, this is club music with its sense of joy still intact.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 002 💥

Next up, we have a legend and master of selecting & blending some of the absolute sickest and juiciest genres in dance music: KaraKara @karakapybara

KaraKara is a DJ focused on rhythm driven club music built for the dancefloor. Whether it’s jungle and breakbeat hardcore or ghetto house and juke, her sets revolve around unapologetic, booty shaking dancefloor joy.

Rooted in the lineage of Chicago club music, her selections connect ghetto house, juke and footwork with UK traditions like garage and jungle, bringing a playful, high-energy approach that keeps things loose and fun.

Behind the scenes she co-founded and runs HnG Picnics (@hng.picnics.brln), building dancefloors that are easy to enter and hard to leave. She is also involved with Angel Audio-a FLINTA* sound system project working to grow sound system culture in the city.

For MACHINE LEARNING [001], she’s bringing her hottest and sexiest ghetto house, ghetto tech, and booty bass to make your ass shake. We better see you throwing it down with us on Friday, 10 July at @block1.berlin 🍑
