Emotion, music, and art explode in my mind, heart, and hands--stay back 200 ft. Not responsible for broken windshields.

POSTS STORIES REELS

I've quietly shared my work for years but have rarely talked about my creative process. Here's a glimpse into how my brain works—where music, emotion, and color overlap.

November is Epilepsy Awareness Month.

Sympathy is appreciated, but empathy is needed.

I painted what I can't articulate: "Status Epilepticus"

The fear of losing everything unexpectedly in under a minute. The fear of becoming a burden to those you love, or those you hope to love.

This is what living with epilepsy feels like to me.

“Contradiction in Cadence”
Mixed Media on Canvas
18" × 24"

There is beauty in living.
Beauty in dying.
In joy and sorrow.
In strength and vulnerability.

Even life's contradictions have their own cadence.

Work in progress. I normally say "just paint over it," but after three rounds, we're escalating to "just burn it." 🤣

"Falling Asters"--mixed media; 18" x 24"

I painted this in 2016 during a difficult time in my life, listening to Radiohead's 'Fake Plastic Trees'.

Nearly a decade later, I learned that blue asters can symbolize trust, loyalty, and peace. I had no idea at the time.

Even the hardest rain can't stop blooms in a new season.
