Trees sustain us, providing the breath essential for our survival. It is little wonder that they stand at the heart of mythologies across the world.

How might their tales guide us towards a deeper, more meaningful connection with the natural world?

Through the generous support of Down4app, @down4app we are delighted to gift one audience member the Tree Tales experience in a place of their choice.

Book your ticket to the @akanda.productions Àkàndá Productions film screening on Down4app for your chance to win. 💚 by @karatasicollective

🌳Even when we are not in places traditionally considered the outdoors, we hear nature’s echoes in everything around us.

We’re delighted to be joining Àkàndá Productions for the first public screening of Roadtrip. @akanda.productions

Before the film begins, Tree Tales will present Beneath the Yew Tree, a story of family, love, place, loss and return, alongside the Tree Tales mini exhibition featuring visual work by Hannah Battershell. @hannahbattershellartist

We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of story, film, conversation and connection as we support Roadtrip on its festival journey.

Our fairy tales are our stories. They create space for imagination, where we can think, feel, and dream beyond everyday life. They help us connect with ourselves, with each other, and with the world around us. A few weeks ago, we met as a group to explore these stories. We wrote, we listened, and we reflected. We discovered forgotten tales that speak with stones and sing with rivers. We can’t wait to share this with you in Letter to Your Future Self commune. But first, let’s dance.
