Finally, His day. 🦚🪷

This Janmashtami feels a little different.

The past month has changed me in ways I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words. It took me through some of the lowest, most uncertain moments of my life and somehow, through all of it, I kept finding my way back to Him.

I’ve always been spiritual. I’ve always believed in Krishna, talked to Him, prayed to Him. But this past month made that connection feel different. More real. More personal. More like holding on to the one thing I knew would never let me fall completely and he gave me SO MUCH. He saved me.

People often say that faith is something you should keep private, that you shouldn’t talk about how much you pray or how deeply connected you are.

But I’ve never understood why I should be ashamed of giving credit to someone who helped me survive.

So yes, I will say it out loud.

I know I am here today because of my Krishna.
I know I am functioning because He carried me when I didn’t have the strength to carry myself.
I know He pulled me out of places I didn’t know how to escape from and did it so quietly, so gracefully, that I only realised later that it was Him holding my hand all along.

And maybe that is what this little jhula means to me this year.

It isn’t just decoration.
It is gratitude.

For every moment He stayed.
For every prayer He heard.
For every time He gave me strength without me even asking.
For bringing me back to myself, one day at a time.

I’m not ashamed to give credit where my heart knows it belongs.

Happy Janmashtami to my Krishna my faith, my strength, and the One I found waiting for me at my lowest. 🤍

Radhe Radhe. Hare Krishna. 🦚✨
