🧿Banjee Ball 11 Year Anniversary: Build This House Ball🧿 🏆Grand Prize Women’s Performance - Brandi Ninja & Karel Ninja🏆 “Bring it as a healer of your own design” This effect was SO much FUN! Being a nurse outside of ballroom makes me feel like I live a weird double life sometimes. Like getting home from the ball at 6am and then clocking into the hospital at 6pm is crazy lol. But this effect was a little reminder to myself that I can do both!Thank you to my house @iconichouseofninja and all of my family who helped prepare me for this momentThank you @pcrush @banjeeball for a fab ball in such a beautiful venue! This past weekend I got to dance for the beautiful @eli_mac as she headlined the @mammothreggae fest🌺When I started my dance journey a year ago, I never thought it would lead me into spaces like this. These are the moments I could have only dreamed of. I am so humbled and so grateful. Thank you so much @liamsoares for believing in me and trusting me with this opportunity. 🏆Grand Prize - Virgin Vogue @ The 2023 Notorious B.A.L.L.🏆I could write a novel about what this moment means to me or about the people who helped me get here. •Year 1: Done•Officially have been dancing for an entire year! How surreal. At 25 years old, I knew that if I didn’t start then… one day I would look back on my life and regret it. Making that jump one year ago was a decision that completely changed everything for me! Dance saved me during a time in my life when I needed it the most. Simply, just thank you. Thank you so much to every single one of my mentors, teachers, family, and friends who have been apart of this journey.But above all, the biggest thank you goes to @jeekalua. You are the reason for it all ma’am. You really took a chance on me by allowing me to be your student and have subsequently taught me everything I know. I know teaching me has not always been easy. It can be a lot of tough love, tantrums, and tears. But just know, meeting you was a turning point for my life. & nothing I do or say will ever be enough to repay you for all you’ve done for me. Thank you for everything, always♥️Can’t wait to see what another year brings💫 by @kareleusoof
