Best times with the best people & stunning views* thrown in 😍 also don’t know if I mentioned but I ran a half marathon too 😅

Shout out to our superstar driver @_nicolebuchan particularly for that epic 13 hour trip back home today!

Harris half marathon completed ✅

Time: 2 hours 58 minutes 25 seconds (was convinced I’d be well over 3 hours 🥳)

The pics really don’t do the course justice - it was stunning if a little hilly for my liking 😅

The last few months have been rough mentally & I’m incredibly proud of myself for crossing that finish line today with a smile on my face. Super grateful to everyone who’s held me together during this time 🫶

Special shoutout to my two running buddies @_nicolebuchan & @rachy_dohx today - you both smashed it & getting to cheer you across that finish line was the best!

Glasgow 10k completed ✅

An absolute mental battle to get to the start line & actually do the run but I have my medal & tshirt! Thanks as always to @lisiemimi for being my 10k pacer as usual 🫶 plus @rachy_dohx & @crossfit_apc for the emotional support through many a breakdown 🤣

Safe to say this did not go to plan but we finished 💪

Some shout outs:

💫 My @ecossefit family past & present for the support, encouragement & love before, during & after the event. I always say joining the gym changed my life & I mean it ❤️

💫 Coach @outward_pt for the training programme to work on my weaknesses & getting me through the most painful shin splints to even make it to the start line 💪

💫 Human ray of sunshine & the best doubles partner a girl could ask for @rachy_dohx! Couldn’t have done it without you (literally!) & watching your progress over the past year has been so inspiring 🔥 I am so proud of you & can’t thank you enough for getting me through Sunday! taken in SEC Centre by @karen_prophet

One happy KP who today ran the Edinburgh women’s 10k, got a 13 minute PB but more importantly enjoyed it!

Brilliant day all round & thanks to my main support/pacer @lisiemimi for getting me around the course!

✨ 𝓞𝓷𝓮 𝔂𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝓒𝓻𝓸𝓼𝓼𝓕𝓲𝓽 ✨

Exactly one year ago today I went to my first ever CrossFit class at @crossfitvanduara, got my arse handed to me & never looked back 😅

Truly the best thing I’ve ever done, longest I’ve ever stuck to anything & that is down to the awesome people in our gym ❤️ what a team 💪 I’ve made friends for life.

It’s not an understatement to say @crossfitvanduara has changed my life 💗 I’m fitter & stronger than I ever thought possible but don’t worry, I still hate burpees 😂

Proudest achievement? Not getting my name on the whitey board of shame……. (yet!)

🌟 Clash of the Clans 2023 🌟

If you’d told me a year ago I would be competing in a CrossFit competition, I would have laughed in your face & had you sectioned!

What to say about this past weekend @clashoftheclans.official? 2 days of mayhem, nerves, hard work but mostly laughing with my gym family. Grateful for every single one of them including those not pictured ❤️

Had a blast despite my face in most of these pictures. Special shout-out to the best teammates a girl could ask for @bemmariggs @partiallynormalkev @maxy137 @cmg2739

Less than ideal build up to the open with constant illness & hardly any gym time but I did my best!

Never thought 6 months ago when I walked through the doors of @crossfitvanduara (at 6.30am 🤢) that I’d be competing in any sort of competition but here I am! Lots of things to work on & improvements to make so bring on the rest of 2023 💪💪

Big shout out to the entire team at @crossfitvanduara for being the best bunch of humans - today especially you kept me going & the support meant everything ❤️
