Yesterday, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month at the Weston office with a brunch bites-style gathering. Our team brings together agents from many parts of the world, so whenever everyone brings something to share, it naturally becomes a celebration of cultures.

Beyond the food, we had a meaningful conversation about how understanding different cultures can help us connect with and serve our clients more thoughtfully. A simple gathering, with a meaningful purpose. Our first GNE as the Hispanic Legacy Network and a moment I will always remember.

There is something incredibly powerful about seeing a vision become a community. Being together with colleagues from across the Sotheby’s International Realty network reminded me that our greatest strength lies not only in where we come from, but in what we can build together.

We are celebrating our heritage, creating meaningful connections, opening doors, and building a legacy of opportunity for those who will come after us.

Ayer tuve uno de esos días en los que pude unir varias de mis pasiones: real estate, música y correr, todo en una misma experiencia y en un lugar muy especial.

Estando en Guatemala tuve la oportunidad de conocer de cerca Distrito Futeca, un proyecto que me impresionó por su magnitud, su visión y por todo lo que representa para el futuro de Guatemala y Latinoamérica.

Y qué especial se siente cuando detrás de algo tan grande hay alguien a quien quieres y sientes familia. Mariana Yurrita es parte de esa familia extendida que la vida me ha regalado en Guatemala, donde los primos de los primos terminan siendo también familia.

Me llena de orgullo verla al frente de un proyecto de esta magnitud, pensado para transformar, innovar y dejar huella.

Ayer pude mezclar un poquito de todo lo que me mueve, conocer un proyecto espectacular y, sobre todo, celebrar los logros de gente que quiero.

Whenever I travel, I like to close the chapter of each journey with something that has become very meaningful to me: visiting my Sotheby’s family wherever I am in the world.

Sydney was no exception. 🇦🇺🦘

While exploring this beautiful city, I happened to come across the Sotheby’s office. With no appointment and no notice, I simply walked in and, as always, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. It was a beautiful reminder of what makes Sotheby’s so special to me. No matter where in the world we are, there is a shared sense of connection, hospitality, and belonging. The same care with which we welcome our clients, making them feel valued, comfortable, and part of the family is something I am fortunate to experience within our global Sotheby’s community as well.

Different cities, different countries, but the same spirit.

Sydney dejó varios números muy especiales para Karen: su tercer mejor tiempo en maratón, su quinto continente y su 8ª estrella de los World Marathon Majors. ⭐️

Tres logros en una misma línea de meta que cuentan una historia mucho más grande que 42.2 kilómetros.

¡Felicidades, Karen! Otro continente conquistado, otra estrella a la colección y otra gran carrera para recordar.

Cena de Celebración en familia, No pudimos escoger un lugar más bello para celebrar el Maratón de Sydney: Whalebridge, un precioso restaurante francés entre el Harbour Bridge y la Ópera de Sídney, justo a la hora perfecta y por supuesto las fotos de @borism insuperables. No se ni por dónde empezar, qué espectacular fue correr Sydney y, sobre todo, hacerlo junto a mi coach, amiga y socia. Compartir kilómetros, emociones y sueños juntas hizo que esta carrera fuera todavía más especial.
El 4 slide con el vídeo lo dice todo!!! Ese instante corriendo debajo del puente, con la Ópera House de Sydney frente a mí, literalmente me dejó sin aire. De esos momentos en los que miras alrededor y piensas: estoy aquí, viviendo esto.

Cruzar la meta fue una emoción enorme, pero después llegó uno de los momentos más especiales del día: recibir a mi hija después de que hiciera PR. (Personal Récord) Verla superarse, verla llegar y poder compartir ese abrazo no tiene precio. Orgullo de mamá en su máxima expresión.

Sydney fue mucho más que una carrera. Fueron kilómetros de amistad, familia, esfuerzo, paisajes inolvidables y emociones que se quedan para siempre. Una carrera que me llevo en el corazón.

Y un agradecimiento muy especial a Boris, que estuvo todo el día detrás de nosotras, acompañándonos y capturando cada momento para que hoy tengamos estos recuerdos para siempre. Gracias por tu paciencia, tu cariño y por estar ahí en cada instante.
