46% of women surveyed with pelvic floor symptoms stopped an exercise they used to do. That’s a huge barrier to staying active. 💥

Skipping jumps because you leak? Cutting your run short because of vaginal heaviness? Worried lifting will aggravate your prolapse?

Those concerns deserve support.

Exercise matters for your physical AND mental health.

Pelvic physio can help you understand your symptoms and build a plan to keep doing—or work back towards—the activities you love.

October is breast cancer awareness month.

This is also a month for raising awareness about overall breast health.

Take today to open a discussion with the females in your life about the importance of early detection and doing routine self exams.

As a pelvic physio that specializes in Women’s Health, I have had many patients with breast cancer tell me the ONLY reason they caught the cancer was because they were diligent with their own routine SELF breast exams.

I challenge you to put a sticky note on your shower door to remind yourself to examine yourself the next time you have a shower!

You deserve to feel heard and supported—book a pelvic physio appointment with @karephysio to explore what could help you feel more comfortable.

Pelvic floor muscle health is necessary for optimal sexual health.

love ASHA's definition of Sexual Health which states "we believe Sexual Health must go BEYOND traditional views of simply avoiding disease or unplanned pregnancy and should include experiencing PLEASURE and INTIMACY when desired along with respecting the sexual rights we all share."

Sex education in school sadly focuses more on the FEAR of STI’s and pregnancy.

I'm passionate at helping all genders regain a sense of positivity, pleasure and sensuality in their bodies.

If you are ready to boost your sexual health then book an appointment at Kare Physio with one of our highly trained pelvic floor physiotherapists.

Passing GAS out your vagina can be mortifying!👀

This is NOT something you have to live with.

I get so frustrated when patients tell me their doctor said they have to live with this condition. 😡

This is not true!

Queefing is commonly reported during yoga, exercise classes or during physical activity.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy is an effective solution for vaginal flatulence or queefing.

Book an appointment if you want help with this embarrassing problem. Link in bio.

Have you stopped bike riding or limited the length of your rides due to saddle sores, skin irritation, genital swelling, numbness or pubic bone/ sit bone pain?

These complaints are common, especially in female recreational and professional cyclists.

But you don’t have to suffer or stop riding!

When cycling your skin and your nerves are under a lot of pressure and friction.

Feeling numb when you are riding or noticing residual numbness, tingling or altered sensation are signs that your tissues are compressed and under a lot of pressure.

Purchased numerous saddles hoping to find the perfect one?

Pelvic Physio treatment can address a lot of these issues.

Optimal pelvic muscle tone, vulvar tissue health and boney support can all assist pressure distribution on the bike saddle.

DM me if you have any questions about how Pelvic Physio @karephysio can maximize your comfort and performance on your bike this summer.

Still up at 3am… again? 🙄

Nocturia (aka too many night pees) is common in perimenopause and menopause — but it’s NOT something you have to live with.

A few simple pelvic floor + bladder fixes can get your sleep back.

Ready to stop the 3am wake-up calls?

Your core didn’t just “get weaker” after baby.

It changed shape, function, and its pressure system — and no amount of random crunches fixes that on its own.

Before you roll out that Pilates mat again, let’s check what’s actually going on in there.

Core activation , deep abdominal strength, breath-to-brace connection — it all matters before you load it back up.

A pelvic floor + core assessment isn’t extra.

It’s the missing first step.

Leaking urine during double unders, box jumps and during high intensity crossfit exercise is common but NOT necessary.

Do you have to pee before your workout or several times during your workout?💦💦

This is a sign that your pelvic floor and core muscles are struggling to manage pressure.

Your pelvic floor is one of your MOST important core muscles.

DM me or comment below if you are curious how pelvic physiotherapy can help optimize your workouts.
