Threw down some guitar solos over my set at the end of our recent event “Ritual Theater” recently…

This event was unique. Combining spoken word poetry from @lovepoetmedicine and @thepoetqueen with live paining from the legend @alexruiz.artist 👨‍🎨

In between poems @frey__fox and I took the crowd on a journey with some instrumental work, it’s always fun to see what her and I can create together live🤝

Costa Rica never disappoints🌴🤙

Just getting back from being in the Jungles of CR for a few weeks, playing music for some events.

It’s been a really powerful time. Life lately has been inviting me to be gentler with myself and with others.
Im leaning in to this season of growth in my life like crazy.

Big focus on having lots of fun while doing it, and sharing that with people I love.

The path to becoming someone that you love, you respect, you look in the mirror and admire…is full of challenges.

I view these challenges as initiations. Opportunities to grow, and become something more than I was before.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on how much I’ve grown and changed this year, on who I’ve become through the initiations this year has brought. My journey as a creative, an artist.

This year has taken me through moments that have forced me to level up, and become more. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Spending time in nature has always been one of the surest ways for me to slow down, reflect, and move with greater clarity.

In certain seasons of life, I find myself more drawn to the mountains than the ocean. Each carries a different message.

The Parthenon, what a view

I passed through Greece on the way to Egypt, had to stop by the Acropolis in Athens. A pillar of classical Greek Mythology. Epic place with an electric feel about it.

Finally got to hear some live classical Greek music too, I enjoyed the energy of seeing family and friends gathering in the evening to enjoy music and dinner together.

This July 4th I’ll be throwing down an epic fireside drum circle….🥁

This event is called “A Declaration of Sovereignty” and it’s going down @life.athaven A place that @joe.hawley has been cultivating for years.

We’re gonna be celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, freedom, and have a great time doing it.

Angel Robison, founder of @solarpunksummit
and @iamaustinwest founder of @entheosholistics will be just a few of the guest speakers.

The one and only @lovepoetmedicine is MC’ing the open mic🎤

@herbyemmy will be holding down the food tent, she’s a legend.

To top all that off. @liquidgoldmusic is headlining the sunset ecstatic dance. Don’t miss that.

This is an epic ranch style property with a lake on it. We’ll be swimming, playing music, dancing, learning, eating incredible food, and celebrating together🔥

Life’s too short not to travel to the places you’ve always wanted to go.

Colombia has become one of my favorite places in the world. A jungle like no other I’ve been too.

It’s amazing what time in nature can do for a creative. Big appreciation to the locals for putting me on to some major harmonica game too. New instrument in the toolkit for life

Traveling the world has changed me more than I could’ve imagined.

There’s something about being exposed to different cultures, perspectives, religious and spiritual beliefs, music, food, etc, that shapes you as a person in ways you wouldn’t achieve if you stayed in your hometown your whole life.

If you have the opportunity to travel in your life, for work, vacation, adventure, whatever. Saying yes to that experience could transform you into a different person.

Better yet, it could inspire you to do something greater with your life than you otherwise would have.
