This month my friends went back to back.

I love this “no validation” prayer.
There was a version of you that has been stagnant Because you are waiting…

Waiting to feel ready.
Waiting for approval.
Waiting for someone to say “yes, go ahead.”

But growth doesn’t wait for permission.

Sometimes the only thing standing between you and your next level…
is the courage to move without being chosen.

This year, I am choosing differently.

No more shrinking.
No more overthinking.
No more asking for permission for what God already placed in me.

My friend planned a surprise birthday party for me. I had zero plans for my birthday. Zero.
And my friend Maki? She went ahead and planned everything. Invited people. Organised the whole thing.
All I had to do was show up.

Then during the party, everyone gave a speech sharing 3 things they love about me.
Y’all. I was gone. Full tears. 😭🤍

That is what an inner circle looks like. People who see you. Who celebrate you without being asked. Who show up for you even when you didn’t ask them to.

Maki, words will never be enough. Thank you. 🤍

I love this “visibility” prayer. 🤍
Because a lot of people are working super hard… but hard work alone doesn’t always open doors.

Sometimes what changes everything is being seen.
The right leader noticing your effort.
The right room hearing your ideas.
The right opportunity finding your name.

So this year, I am praying that effort and visibility finally align.

May your work be recognized.
May your voice be heard.
And may the right people see the value you bring.

I love this “love discernment” prayer. 🤍
Because sometimes we try to pray away what we should be paying attention to.

We hope things will change.
We tell ourselves to be patient.
We convince ourselves it’s just a “season.”

But peace is also a signal.

If something constantly brings confusion, inconsistency, and anxiety… it might not be something God is asking you to hold onto.

Sometimes wisdom looks like recognizing the signs early.
And courage looks like walking away.

May we have both.

Sometimes we think God rejected us…
when He was actually protecting us.

The project that didn’t work out.
The relationship that ended.
The door that suddenly closed.

At the time it feels like disappointment.

But later you realize…
God was saving you from something you couldn’t see.

I love this “friends who stay” prayer. 🤍
Because the older you get, the more you realize that friendships aren’t just about fun moments, they are about consistency.

Life gets busy.
People relocate.
Responsibilities grow.

And sometimes friendships quietly drift apart.

So when you find people who stay…
people who keep checking in, keep showing up, keep choosing the friendship even through seasons of change, that is a real blessing.

The best friendships aren’t always the loudest.
They are the ones that remain steady.
