I came here to learn, but I’m leaving with much more than that. The more I learn about coffee, the more I realize how much I didn’t know, and honestly, this is what makes me love it even more.

There is a whole world behind this little creature, and I feel like I’ve only just started discovering it.

In a week, I’ll be 44. And somehow, at this age, I found something that makes me feel like I’m starting all over again. Something I want to learn more about every single day, something I want to explore, create around, and dedicate a big part of my life to.

Funny how life works. You spend years doing so many things, then suddenly you find something that makes everything feel different.

I don’t know exactly where this coffee journey will take me, but I know one thing… I’m going all in. And I have a feeling this is going to be one hell of a journey.

This chapter of my life is called HAPPINESS. And it begins now!

@babi.istanbul is somewhere up in the mountains outside Istanbul and I genuinely don’t know how anyone finds this place without a local sending a pin.

But then you get there and the food just surprise you! Everything tastes like someone’s grandma made it with zero chill about portion sizes. The meze could feed a small army. The grilled stuff is unreal, no idea what they’re doing up there but it works. (DONT MISS THE BOILED KEBBA/KOBEBA)

Service was so relaxed but somehow perfect
✅would get lost in the mountains again for this.
