as my senior season starts reaching its end, it’s easy to look back and be upset and filled with anger that i got my senior season and possibly soccer as a whole taken from me. but as i reflect, i’m only grateful. I’m grateful for God for keeping me alive and well, coach will and zach for the opportunity to still be a part of the team, my teammates for always treating me as such, and my family/friends supporting me and lifting me up when i’m down. i’m thankful to have received the champions of character award at this years banquet as well. soccer has always been such a big part of my life, playing for 16 years, so i will look back on this season with just as much love for the sport as i had when i was 4. God has a plan for me and this is a minor setback and time of hardship that will lead to a future of happiness and perseverance.
