Raising good kids takes more than good intentions. It takes the everyday things: shared meals, the words we choose, and how we treat the world and the people in it ❤️❤️

The picture book box set from Karis Parenting is built around those everyday practices. It shows a wide range of families so every kid can see themselves in the story. The books are rooted in faith and written for any family that wants to talk about belonging.

The Karis Parenting board book library just got bigger! Our range of board books for preschoolers now includes the stories of Clare and Neela, two little girls whose stories of generosity and community make it easy to explore foundational faith topics with little ones.

In The Growing Table, Clare narrates her own experience of living in a home that always has space and food to share with friends, family, and neighbors. Clare's experiences help kids learn about generosity and the ways sharing what we have can enrich our lives.

In Neela Finds Belonging, Neela and her crew of three talented friends use their individual skills to complete a journey that ends with everyone feeling safe and welcomed at church. This adorable gang's story shows us that we can be ourselves and still feel welcomed in a community space, and that there is strength in diversity and individuality.

These two beautifully illustrated board books are now available via the link in our bio, along with other board book titles and an activity deck for preschoolers! New customers can get 20% off their first order when you sign up for our newsletter. by @karis_parenting

This book means a lot to me. It put language to something I've been learning as a parent: fitting in and belonging are not the same. Belonging happens when who you truly are - your passions, your quirks, your strengths - gets a place to matter. That's when you stop just attending and start feeling needed.

That's what @karis_parenting's Neela Finds Belonging shows kids. And it's what we've found, unexpectedly, at our own church. Comment NEELA for a link to buy the book and to read my full review on Substack. 🫶❤️

🌿 MY REVIEW

Parents of little ones and children's ministry folk, if you haven't yet come across Karis Parenting, a ministry of @fbcasheville, I'd encourage you to check them out. This little board book with its big message of belonging is simply lovely.
What Belongs in God's World? is one of a series of five titles, each of which is equally as delightful as this one.

Using an average of only five words per page, this book celebrates the beauty of God's world and explores the notion that everything and everyone belongs.

What Belongs in God's World? is a must for your child's bookshelf, your preschool rooms and church libraries.
