Somewhere between Las Vegas, 1999 and New York, 2026, a little taco shop got its fairytale ending. Thank you, from the bottom of our hot sauce–covered hearts. ♥️ 🌶️ This is only the beginning. 🌮 We truly couldn’t have done it without you. The gratitude we feel is propelling us toward the finish line of this project. Thank you for running this race with us. by @karisdanish
“Now, if the big man’s in my favor, maybe one last potter around Disneyland before I disappear.” — Achar All brains. No sense. Meet the troubled “mastermind” of our taco stand robbery. Played by actor/artist/producer @juanjaviercardenas (who, for the record, does not do crime). 🌮 ⚖️ Our Seed&Spark Campaign has ONE DAY MORE! 🎶 Follow @backflipjustice to watch the journey of how this 90’s crime caper makes it to the screen. 📺 Graphic 🎨: @mattg0re by @karisdanish

How do you dress a ’90s show on an indie budget? You go to the thrift racks. 🎞️ Our Backflip Justice costumes came straight from secondhand and vintage shops in Las Vegas. No reproductions, no rentals, just real pieces with real history that made our characters feel lived-in. Low budget, high authenticity. More money for tacos. 🌮 Follow along for more behind the scenes, and check the link in bio to support the pilot. We are 97% funded! #BackflipJustice #IndieTV #90sAesthetic by @karisdanish

From the bottom of our taco-loving hearts THANK YOU! In 6 days we have raised 60% of our goal for our @seedandspark campaign! We’ve got 3 weeks to go! Let’s do this! 🌮 ⚖️ #backflipjustice #indiefilm #thedesert by @karisdanish
What’s the best way to make an independent TV series? Just start! Our co-producer + Gavriella, @fabtablets, breaks down (&breaks down 🫠) how sometimes you just gotta go before you’re ready. 🌵🚨 #backflipjustice #independentfilm #thedesert by @karisdanish
How to build a location you can’t afford. Our director, Jonathan Coleman, breaks down the composite shot that gave us a roadside taquería in the middle of the Nevada desert. No location. No budget. One very good idea. More of this in our forthcoming Netflix docuseries, dropping November 35th. Until then: BACKFLIP JUSTICE is live on Seed&Spark and we need help finishing the pilot. 🔗 Link in bio 🌮⚖️ by @karisdanish
