Windthorst athletics,
thank you for every memory, the ups and downs, the wins and losses, the long practices, the constant tournaments, the soreness, and for blessing me with the best people and community. I am so grateful for all the opportunities sports have given me and for the moments I will remember forever. It is hard knowing this chapter is coming to an end, but I will always be thankful for this journey. I am beyond grateful to leave with memories, friendships, and awards that I’ll always be proud of.

To my first love,
I never expected this moment would come after 15 years of playing the sport that brought me so many memories, laughter, and tears. Softball has been one of the biggest parts of my life, and I never imagined having to put down my bat and glove for the last time. To my dad, thank you for all the miles you put in driving me to practices, lessons, and tournaments. Thank you for always being my biggest supporter. Without you, I would have never become the softball player I am today. To my mom, thank you for always telling me what I needed to hear, always being there for me, and washing the dirt out of my white socks. To my parents, the moments we’ve shared together are ones I will cherish forever. Thank you for all the money, time, and energy you put into softball to help watch my dreams come true. To Gage, thank you for always believing in me, showing up to support me no matter the drive, and being there when I needed someone to help shake off my nerves. To my sisters, thank y’all for being the best role models and my biggest cheerleaders. I’m so grateful that a yellow ball gave me so many memories and people that I will cherish forever.
